Post by: tonguello on June 26, 2013, 16:53:06
Series 5 will be lunched on July 19th according to the German Facebook page.
I thought they were due to August/september.

As in "taken out for lunch"....?

(Sorry, Tonguello, I couldn't resist it!)

Well, no reason they can't be taken out to lunch. Even better if they pay the bill.

I was thinking more along the lines of lunched as in eaten   :hmm:

I'd predict eating the clickies would be more lethal to you than to them.

Better to take them out to lunch. To a place where they dont object to clickies walking over the table.

On the plus side, at least you said lunched and not lynched.  :cowboy:

Yeah, that'd be bad for the digestion.

I can't think of many restaurants that would object, as long as their feet are clean.

   I was thinking it was probably about time for them. I'm REALLY looking forward to this series.

Tim, if you're doing another co-op, I'm in!

I can't get excited about series 5, speaking personally, especially the boys. Another Viking? Another skate/snowboarding teenager? Another alien? Even children have long enough memories to recall similar figures in Series 1, 2, 3 and 4.  I expect series 6 will have a traffic cop with speed camera on tripod to show innovative thinking is dead and buried. What about a few of the ideas suggested by fans?

Launching, lunching or lynching of Series 5: count me out!

Count me in to if the co-op is happening. :)

Absolutely love the pink cone hatted princess in this series... and the marshmallow space man of course

My favorite is the lady with the fruit basket on her head! So cute!

I love the basket one! I also love the iPod accessory - is this the first place we've seen this, or is it already available?

Not as keen on as many of the blue ones, but I do like the astronaut. :)

The boys are pretty mediocre this time around, but there's some great klickies amongst the girls.

I DO like the "new" knight, I like his rather "old school" heraldry.

I still think the series are released too close together... and there are so many klickys per series... It's hard (on the wallet) to keep up.

In stores - well, two stores :(  - I still see series 3 (I did try to grab me another dwarf, but no go)... Only saw series 4 this week.

Totally way too close together.  I see stores here skipping over entire series. Toys R Us did that with series 3 girls. They never even got any put out as there were still series 2 on the shelf and then they went directly to series 4...

They also turned up in the US (Central Ohio.)     We found both sets last Thursday.

Clerks said the boy's arrived the previous week and the girl's had just arrived that day.

 Weird.

That is strange. I would have thought that they would ship them together.

I was in Fred Meyer store yesterday and they had the series 5 Figures. They haven't had any Playmo in a long time and now all of a sudden those plus the Christmas carry case with Santa and the elf. Hopefully we will be hearing from the shop soon about our order.
