Title: black Qin crossbowmen with white belts
Post by: cheng on June 26, 2013, 09:30:53
a little history;
The Qin army that united the whole of China reached 2 million (including logistic forces) in numbers.
They were feared for their crossbowmen. From the terracotta army relics, we can see that there's an emphasis in both archers and crossbowmen.
and here's my small party of 4 :P

Still amazing! Are you going to make belts for all your customs?  Do you have enough of this wonderful material?
I just saw a documentary on antique China, and I dare say these crossbowmen should be wearing some armor. ;)

thanks Arnaud! White belt looks good on dark bodies so my light coloured customs will use black judoka belts....and youre right, they do need armour....I do have a few different 'armoured' Qin soldiers....I'm almost out of those straps and will have to buy more...I wish they were a little narrower but I suppose being oversized is normal for our klickies right? ;)
