Am I the first Canadian on here? I don't see any other canucks :-\
Anyway, "Hi"!!!
Some of you may remember me, others won't have a clue, so let me just leave it that way so it drives you crazy >:D
Just kidding. I am Dunc, the Playmobil Jeep guy. And Pirates, and Mounties, and Explorers, and Adventurers, and, and, and.... well you get the idea I'm sure. But mainly the PLM Jeep Guy.
If you've been around the block a few times, you've probably seen my stuff next door. I used to post there a lot, but life changes back in 05 put me into a hiadus(sp) for a bit.
Now with the advent of some new PLM Jeep sets coming out (and already out) I have once again crawled out from under the prairie sod to mingle with the little people and all their world wide supporters. Yes, this means YOU guys!
So, "Hi again" to those who knew me, and "Hi" for the first time to those who don't. But, now you do, so there. neener neener :P
Any questions? Feel free to ask. And if you want to see pics of the latest little Jeep Girl, check em out HERE (http://www.playmoboard.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=15870) cuz I'm too lazy to post them all again (I hope that's ok Admin).
Ok, now, um, where's the snacks?

Hi Dunc, nice to see you here.
This board tends to be heavier on the custom work, that I know you have had some success with in the past. I am sure everyone here will be interested in seeing your projects unfold.
-
Thanks Tim.
I am looking forward to getting back into some customising and revamping my web site. Things are a bit out of date now and there is a pile of new sets that require write-ups and my attention to obtaining.
-
What's up Dunc??!!! Nice seeing ya here! I thought you had vanished! ;D
-
Hi Dunc,
Pleased to see that you have joined us here. :)
Garry.
-
Thanks Garry and Robbie.
Not vanished - just occupied with other things for awhile. Still am but with these new Jeep sets out, I need to acquire the new sets, compile the information, update the existing info, and revamp the web site. Have started on that already.
The Jeepmobil website is under the knife for a major overhaul. So my main page for now will be the Playmobil Jeepz page (see profile for link)
And.... with a little cute girl who will need playmo in 2 years, I gotta get back in practice. ;D
I see dollhouse's in our future. With lots of Jeeps parked out front, back, and all around them!!! hehehe

A legend returns :wow: I had begun to wonder what had become of our resident jeep expert !!
If you cant remember me its Tim, the same old Tim of the other forum. The very guy who received your secret Santa many moons ago, and what a gift it was !! I still have the box you sent it in !! Welcome back, its great to have you here. I hope you plan on staying with us !! Now all you have to do is share your wonderfull customs with us again !!
Tim :)
-
Be welcome from the South of Germany
-
Tim, Tim, Tim, the man w/ the crazy Pirate :o Of course I remember you
I have a couple customs in mind, but it will be awhile before I get anything done on them. I have to replenish my supply of parts again since most were used up in the last go around. But I promise to please when I finally get at it again. ;)
And, Little Jo, nice to meet you. You have some very interesting threads here. I have been reading and looking around. Thanks for the welcome.

Hiya Dunc!
Welcome to PlaymoFriends! :D
Nice to catch up with you again and to hear that your interest in Playmo is returning. :)
What a beautiful, healthy-looking baby you have there.
Treasure these moments of babyhood because before you know it they'll be a distant memory. My first baby turned 18 today and I can scarcely believe he's an adult already. :o
PS. Still got the autographed "Trailer Trash" pic? ;D

You betcha I do! And it's still my Fave.
Thanks Sylvia!

Hey Dunc! Wow, talk about a "blast from the past"!
Great to see ya on here. And CONGRATULATIONS! Your daughter is beautiful. Amazing how such little people can change our lives in such big ways, eh?
Looking forward to seeing more of your Jeeps and see what you are up to these days.
-
Hello Dunc.
I'm sure I remember you. Welcome anyway ;D
-
Thanks guys for the welcome and re-welcomes! ;)
And thanks Henry for the congrats. I'll be posting more once I get some new sets here. I have some unfinished projects to catch up on and some new ones going through my head. I actually need to speak to you about some stickers again lol. But before I worry about that, I need to dig out the projects from their banishment. They were packed away into the basement to make room for Kayla to have her own bedroom.
Did you ever manage to see THIS? (http://www.mts.net/~outback/PLM/Jeep/CustomJeeps.htm)
Dunc

No, I had not seen that. Very cool! Thank you.
Small correction though, I am not from Texas. I am from Maryland.
-
OOps! I wonder where I got that from? I'll fix it tonight. Thanks CH.

Hmmm ... Maybe from GW? 'Cause Garden Wargaming used to be located in Texas ... (And, Cap'n Henry has been closely associated with the GW team for quite awhile.) ... ;)
2nd Hmmm ... No other Canadians?
I'm a "summer" Canadian (Does that count, eh?) ...
Hello, Dunc ...
And, a BIG welcome from the warm and beautiful island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. Really nice to see you again!
All the best,
Richard
-
Heya Richard! Thanks, good to hear from you again also.
Your probably right about the Texas association. But that's been fixed, just not uploaded yet. I guess I should do that eh-sap ;)
-
Hiya Dunc,
nice to see you at this place too
I see dollhouse's in our future. With lots of Jeeps parked out front, back, and all around them!!! hehehe
... as long as they are not parked inside the house ...
although - meanwhile there's a garage available from playmo as well (that is IF Jeeps need a garage anyway) ... in your case I would suggest a double, triple or multiple garage ...
(or a whole parking garage - just to be on the safe side ... ;) )
-
Thanks Arizzo! I seen that new garage too. I haven't decided if it is something I need or not yet. It does have some interesting features, though it is geared more towards the cars. I guess cars arent as tough as Jeeps eh? ;)
