That's a superb custom with great detailing. You could build the biggest ships with facilities like that. Excellent photos, too.
Which set do the steps come from that the man by the cart is standing on, please?
-
That's a really great building!
And can we have a better look at the klickys too?
(I think the stairs appeared at least in one of the old knights tournament sets.. maybe the swann knight with the tent?)

Amazing creation!!!!! Excellent idea, congrats!!!
George. :)

Nicely done! I like the cat too :)

:) Perfect construction and detail. You are drawn right into the action! Love the scale of the building.

Perfect!!!!
I absolutly love the realism!! well done!

Again I'm amazed at the detail and the scale. I will be staring and absorbing all this detail for a while. It's perfect for inspiration!
Not to get too off topic, but could you recommend what specific sets I could be looking for to get some of those wooden bracer steck pieces?

Thank you all for your nice comments, I was inspired by so many countless dioramas in the last years, I thought it is time to give back (hopefully) some inspiration.

As Tahra pointed out, it was in one of the knight tournament sets. I really like it because the wooden planks (steps) are of different size/shape. A very nice detail from Playmobil.

I think I will start another thread with all my civilians, ok? There are some more that might be interesting.

They were used in the train cargo building and the safari station. I absolutely love them for they enhance the tudor/framework look.

Great structure. I envy your stairs they are ridiculously hard to get without having to buy an entire zoo to get them.

Great idea, and worked out very nicely! 8-)

True!
Although I don't absolutely like them since the color is not a dark but a reddish brown. Outside houses I still prefer the stone stairs.

Your carpenter shop is amazing!
What pieces did you use on the inside wall that the boards are stacked on?
Thank you.

Thanks!
The boards lie on the triangular pieces:

Directly above I used this part:

I have never seen this until you posted a link. That building is gorgeous and a shinning example of what is possible with a play system, AKA STECKS. The high roof, the zoo staircase, the 1/2 wood braces, please rerelease 7400 before I die, and every other stecks part.
If only geobra continued on this creative path we could have had today all kinds of parts. Brick walls, 45degree, wider towers, 4x roofs, the endless dream list.......
Thanks for sharing your creativity with the golden era of geobra.
