Has anyone out there purchased the cable car set? (only available in Germany, AFAIK)
I'm dying to see a review of it!!!
I plan to ask a friend in Switzerland buy me one before she comes home in the summer, but before that I'd like to know what the dimmensions of the box are to find out if it's a good carry-on for her...if not, I'd need to purchase it on ebay.de
Also, I can't use playmodb ??? whoever has this set would mind providing the part numbers to get additional gondolas via German DS? :)
Any help will be much appreciated.

Don't know about the box, but for part numbers, the plans are posted for download on the Playmobil website.

the box has 59/50/12 in cm for dimensions

And I bet half of it is empty :(
I'm afraid of what to do if I EVER go to Germany! I only ever travelled with "cabin" luggage.. My biggest hope is that post offices are many and full of nice helpful people!

I must say the box was pretty well filled this time
I cannot take pictures because I don't have the box anymore :-[

thanks Michael for the dimmensions
Heather, how can I find the inventory if the set number search option is disabled? thank you

You can't - most functions are offline for an unknown period of time. I meant, the official Playmobil website, http://playmobil.com, pick your country, Building Instructions link in lower left, search for the set number. (I didn't have 5426 inventoried before the crash anyway, so PlaymoDB wouldn't be much help even if it were up!)
