Title: good old Playmobil katana
Post by: cheng on May 22, 2013, 07:29:38
I have sometimes been rather critical of Playmobil's 'historiness'....
as well as hotch potchness of (Japanese+Chinese+fantasy) the coming 'Asians'....
but after taking their katana (samurai sword) for granted for so long,
I like to say a big "THANK YOU AND WELL DONE!!" for their Playmobil katana :love:

at least I must say "well done!" for the new Asian samurai whose head I can surely collect  :lol:
but his sword.....sets him back centuries 8}
.....anyone here playing computer games knows whether such (Chinese) swords are popular in computer games?

The "official" Playmobil one looks like a character from a children's show (ie Power Rangers).

If Playmobil had done this range in the mid-later 1990's it would be historically accurate and include non-fighting sets.
