I stumbled across a site today that shows pictures from boxes and other official Playmobil images - so - time for a new topic!

Some images really stand out for me (even beyond the others!).
Such as this one of the GREEN Bakery(!) - note the hand-made clothes line:

I'm not sure what it is with green, but check out the colour differences here and the light green for this house:

I remember from my childhood the last pic with the spacecraft-construction (a production-line before the robotic era I guess ;D ) and also the (white) bakery-shop with the bread. The red house showed up in some pics decades before a version of it got actually released (on collectors' requests), but that green bakery is completely new to me. :o Also can't remember having seen those different shades of green in one and the same pic... ???

There is a great one with the western blacksmith too, and one with a carcrash where a clicky seems to be talking passionate to the cop (likely saying it wasnt his fault.)

These are great, I love thiese things. Worht a look at the site - also check the other playmo galleries there. The one for Saint Nicolas lez Arras - I think I've seen some images of this show before but I don't remember seeing the fantastic Mongolian diorama (most sheep ever) - or noticing the use of a longboat with the covered wagon top as an Asian riverboat. Some brilliant stuff there

Lovely artwork nice colourful pictures of village life, I can remember the old homemade clothes line from the catalogues when I was a kid normally with the Victorian Mansion I think in my day. My favourite photo has to be the one of the guys assembling the space vehicles something about it very simple but, striking I've gotta agree with Tonguello I think it's areal pity we don't see these sort of photos on boxes and in the catalogues nowadays all preinseted backgorunds and sutff like that these days :(
