I hate to brag but I am very proud of this custom which took me a long time to conceptualise but finally managed it overnight.
Ghost Rider is my favourite Marvel character when Mark Texeria was pencilling it long long time ago.
The movie totally did not do him (nor Hellboy) any justice...
-
Beautiful custom! It's perfect! Congratulations!
-
Great Custom! He looks wonderful.
-
Very nice custom. 8}
You really like playmobil and movies.
Do you think is possible to make motorcycle on fire? ???
Greetings
Leonardo

Cool custom, I've got to admit I enjoyed the Ghost Rider film he didn't look to bad the story and the action itself was good enough but, hardly brilliant, I am fairly easy to please though when it comes to those sorts of things :)
-
Don't really know more than the image, but he looks great! Love what you did with the "hair"!
-
Spot on! His hair is awesome.

I thought about that too but I will probably need my lighter fluid for that... Hahaha!

Yup! All original parts. The chains are from the jailbird from the 2nd series of FI?URES.

Good one!!! :)

Don't try this at home kids!
Great custom! That flame just fits the skull nicely!

Thanks Graham! Actually, the flame was the MOST difficult part cause it kept slippin off his head... I had to make some incisions so that it will hold long enough for me to shoot.
Scrapped one in the process...

Looks great, I agree the flame hair is a great idea.

i'm a big fan of choppers, skull/biker jewelry and related stuff and this custom is one of the best i've ever seen to my taste, bravo!
-
Luis & Larry, dont you think this ghost rider's 'flame hair' will look better on my (Dragon ball) Saiyan custom?
-
It may, Cheng. Your custom originally has orange hair - do try a yellow one! :)

Thank you very much Luis. I am glad you liked it.
Cheng, you are absolutely right about that. But you may have a hard time trying to make the flames hold onto his head. I had to slit the back and still its slipping off. I didn't wanna make anything permanent so I passed on gluing it down
Try cutting a hairline, it may help with the hold.
-
thanks guys! I will try it but after buying this flame from DS
...do you happen to have to ETN, Larry?

Whats ETN...?
-
The part number ;)

The part number ;)
I'm afraid I don't but any set with a catapult should have them. A few of them and trust me you'll need two at least just to be safe.

You could try
30 21 5682 (found in Robo Gang sets 4878, 4882 so probably still available from DS) or
30 26 6130 (sets 4278, 4440, 4840, 5480 -all still available (at least in Germany according to www.playmobil.de) and 4845, 5832- no longer available)

thanks Graham! you are probably the alternative "playmodb"
just a question to set owners;
roman catapult instructions for 4278 says 3 x 30 26 6130
while the dragon catapult's instructions says just: 30 26 6130 (but probably come in 3s from DS)
and finally, the robber's boat 4840 which needs only 2 flames; do they come in 3s? (kids might be womdering where to fit the 3rd flame, but if if it only comes in twos, then given the same part number, there will be some stock issue mess up in the factory packing floor...anyone with the robber boat set here?
-

No, all that information (apart from current availability of sets) came from Playmodb. It's not as dead as some may think; see http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=12802.0 (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=12802.0). One useful feature (which Heather admits only works because of "sloppy coding") is to enter any part number in the URL line http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/klicky.pl?partnum=30%20nn%20nnnn (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/klicky.pl?partnum=30%20nn%20nnnn) (replace nn and nnnn with your part number) and you will get a list of sets containing that part.
I can't help with the question about how many parts you will get if you order 30 26 3130 from DS. It drives me crazy when you want, say 4 of a part, order 4 and get 16! That would be another useful piece of information for Geobra to supply to the fan community, along with comprehensive lists of part numbers!
-
thanks again Graham! will definitely learn to use this meanwhile ;)

hear! hear! ....even worse when I'm waiting for a pair of axles and end up having he reorder the second one ::)
