Hi friends.....!!! :wave:
This time, and thanks to Cowabounga  :love:.....he make a 3D prototype.....I have a new Beotian helmet.....one of my dreams and one more for the Hellenic Collection....

Nice! It looks tougher than my 3D design, the ear-flaps were so thin I thought they would break. Is the falcata a new item too? I have the Spartan's but not this one. And the shield… :love:

As you know, the prototype is very thin....on ABS plastic dont broken, is "flexible" but the polyurethane resin is another world.....to make moulds and resin cast we need make more strong but we cant grow inward....then, I apply a coat of 1mm. for all the exterior of the helmet with epoxi clay...., I make some modifications on all the visors. Thanks to the epoxi I can made a smooth surface......and finally, you can see the result.... :love:

All this 3D new technology is fantastic, maybe with youth problems but little by little we learn and make better designs, smooth surfaces....etc, etc.
Is a fantastic tool but for the moment we need a bit of artisan hand..... ;)
