I equipped the diamond thief for set 4265 with a real face mask and a 3D printed Uzi. Hope you like it  ;)

Forgot to write that I wanted to show with the white Uzi that 3D printed items can be easily customized with a white base colour to the own needs like black, dark green, beige, silver, etc.

thanks for sharing! 3D printing may be controversial for some PM collectors but if limited to only small parts we might never get from PM, its a miracle for some of us (like me :P) who like accuracy....but may I say here that modern weapons are kind of sensitive on PF  ;)
...I hope I dont sound like a self-appointed moderator here.....I'l just saying my 2 cents worth in the light of the silence....do go on developing 3D parts for PM and I do look forward to seeing those that our mods will allow 8-)

Hey, that looks great!  I never really thought about how great 3D printing for Playmobil would be!!!

All those old parts that we just cannot get anymore.  That last one to complete a rare set.  Something unique (like the uzi).

Just think of crests for knights helmets!  Or barding for horses.  Armour.  Shields.

(I don't think modern weapons should be a problem since Playmobil makes more than enough for the police themed sets ...)

That Uzi looks great.... and I know what I'm talking about. When I was on duty in the Dutch army it was my personal weapon during the training. I've shot with it and dismantled and cleaned it countless times. Well done!
