Title: New theme: beach.
Post by: Rhalius on March 10, 2013, 09:18:46
While theres been some beach sets as part of a holiday theme, why not make a full on beach theme?

Set suggestions:

-Beach house.
Small house big enough for two adults and a kid. Has a wooden deck at the side and aside from furniture, comes with a surfboard and other fun beach stuff.
Included clickies: two adults and a kid.

-Beach-volleyball field.
A volleyball net with volleyball players.
Included clickies: tanned man and woman in swim clothes.

-Family at the beach.
A family with a full set of beach equipment.
Blankets to lay on for each clicky, a parasol, a cooler with food and drinks inside, a beach ball, sun lotion, air matras and something to keep the baby afloat in the water.
Included clickies: Dad, mom, boy, girl, baby.  (all in swimsuits.)

-Beach party.
Clickies like to party, and this one is for clickies that appear to be teens.
The set comes with an extra large campfire and fold up chairs, a barbeque with various meat and plates, a crate with bottles that could be beer or soda, a guitar and a radio.
Included clickies: two teen guys and two teen girls. (adult size since theres no teen size, just young looking due to haircuts, stylish swimwear and accesoires.)

-Speedboat.
Speedboats have been done before, so this one will have to bring in some new features.
The set comes with a rubber band and a string to tie behind the speedboat, even in real water and using the motor, a clicky could sit in that rubber band and be pulled along behind the speedboat.
There is also flippers and snorkles for each clicky on board the speedboat.
Included clickies: man, woman, boy and girl. All in swimwear, though maybe one of the kids could wear a wetsuit since its not been done yet I think.

-Lifeguard tower.
Quite small but functional, the lifeguard house comes with various equipment to help save clickies in danger.
Binoculars, a jet ski, first aid kit, mobile phone, Ring buoy and two resque cans.
Included clickies: a male and a female lifeguard, and a female surfer with surfboard to save.

-Jet-ski race.
Something not big enough to make a theme of, but could be great fun nonetheless.
Comes with three jet-ski's and various floating pawns with flags, as well as two docks attached with a bridge that comes with a start and finish flag that can be put on the bridge.
Included clickies: Three racers in wetsuits with life vests and helmets (including a woman), woman with child to watch the match, both in summer clothes.

-Jet-ski.
A small set including one jet-ski racer in wetsuit  with life vest and helmet, can be added as an extra competitor to the race set.

-Beach bar.
A festive set with a wicker bar and barstools with flowered cushions, two wicker tables with wicker chairs, various parasols and palm trees, palm bushes, and various drinks as well as ice cream.
Included clickies: barman in shorts with a flowered shirt, barlady in matching flowered shirt, old man with grand daughter in summer clothes.

All great ideas, from your lips to the powers that be!  Maybe the rerelease of the vacation cottage, 3771.

I already have most of the sets you describe from earlier versions, but the beach party sounds pretty awesome  8-)

They could easily add these sets to the hotel theme. A new pier would be cool too.

But much of this is re-releases of recent or fairly recent items.
