Hi guys, i'd like to buy some parts of 3786 and 3787 to combine them in a new customized western house. naturally i will have to paint it, and here comes the question. i was thinking of bying a badger 250 airbrush spray set with some humbrol enamel paint. i don't have any experience with painting, infact this would be my first attempt. hence i need advice. the painting will not be fine, just the entire walls. So i am waiting for your advice. thank you

You should be able to just use spray can paint. I would recommend that if it's your first project rather than spending money on an airbrush that could be used to buy more Playmo instead. :D There are threads here with paint recommendations. I use some of the Krylon colors and have had fairly good results.

Yes, I agree that if its your first attempt and you plan on doing it infrequently simply buying cans of spray paint is much easier. They will cost about $5 to $7 each. There is also enough paint in each can to practice on other objects to get the technique down. There is Krylon that is designed for plastic but the colors are limited.

my problem is that i can't regulate the paint flow. as a result, sometimes there are drops of paint formed on. i try to use the spray from a certain distance. i don't know what else to do. maybe i need a finer hole (i don't know its name) where the paint comes out of the can

be careful with enamels as well. Some times they don't turn out well. Humbrol does offer acrylics that may do well. I usually use acrylics made for d and d miniatures on figures I customize
