Javi,
Make US is easier because I have many bodies and trousers, because I collect only ACW / Western.
I have white trouser, white hat but I don't have any white body to make Spanish soldiers.
I have white body with red stripes, with red and blue stripes but all white no.
Why did spanish use this such strange uniform in Cuba?
As soon as I get one white body I make a Spanish.
Greetings.

No, no my friend....is only a joke..... ;D

Many people want to make the spanish colonial uniform....but anybody find a good solution to make the "1000 lines" textil fabric.....popularly called "rayaditos"
I also think about a solution.....but  ???....maybe a vynil sticker cover all the body??.... 8}

This is the typical spanish tropical uniform on this Time....no only for Cuba and Sud America, also for Africa, Filipinas....all the Colonies

Javi,
I have the book Brassey's Spanish-American War and there is a spanish white uniform without any stripes.
As soon as I get one white body I make a custom spanish to your happiness.  ;)
Greetings.

He can be Spanish, Cuban or Philippine.
This is the uniform used by forces against USA in Spanish American War.

thanks for the info Leonardo!
dont you need to check out the rear of the custom klicky before you buy it? the stickers have a problem going around his shoulders so the back view might be unacceptable to some collectors

Hi friends....few days ago I answer on this thread but....??....maybe I dont make "post"....??....sorry.

We talk about the difficult to make this uniform and maybe the cheap option is to make a sticker because make a "pad print" is hard and expensive.

Casually, on this days two spanish friends works on this theme....anything relevant with me.
The solution on Ebay is from Chema....he use translucent vinyl and this is a handicap for the colours and a good apply over the bodie....also make a good job with militar ranks, belts....
The other solution is from "Flipi and Tchatorman" from Playclicks....only for pleasure, not to sell
http://www.playclicks.com/playforos/index.php?topic=43553.0
.....on this case....I like the design of the thin strips pattern....but have not good details with belts and ranks.
Maybe a mix. of this two solutions is the best.....but.... ::)
In any case is very difficult make and apply this vinyl and cover all the bodie  8}

thanks for explaining Malone.....the second custom is also well done....but like you said, the rounded shoulders pose a difficult challenge..
