As I mentioned in another thread, I need to raise some money to buy some new items for Kirkbean Exhibition, so I have been selling some spare things on ebay.
I wanted to make up some Victorian couples to sell as I had some klickies that I had bought as spares to sell on, but decided I would like to colour co-ordinate them.
Here are the results: very simple, but I was pleased with them - especially the green and the yellow ones so I think I may recreate these for my own Victorian collection,
Sadly all these have bids on so will have to go :( But thought you might like to see them here, before they do. :)

I really like these Elaine. They look very classic and approachable. ;) I think the third couple is my favorite.

Oh, they're gorgeous, Elaine! I really love the blue and pink one, that's my favorite, I think. The green and brown one is a close second. Very well done!

Very nice work, Elaine. The man with the bowler hat is very tempting!

They look great. It's too bad that you're selling them.

So beautiful - i love the yellow couple !

I like them so much. Beautiful customs Elaine, well done. The third couple is my favorite too.

I think they would be a very profitable line to concentrate on, Elaine, having seen the result of the auction I was watching!

Very nice looking Victorians you made from random spare parts. One thing though that I do not quite understand is the desire to make couples match in colors. If a couple comes to our home or party and they match it is quite odd and peculiar. Must be a female thing :P

Thank you all for the nice comments.

I thought they might be more eye catching that way - and it worked - I got some very good prices for them ;)

I've already bought a log cabin (just need another 5 or 6) and various other bits and pieces, unfortunately what I've bought will take up more space than what I've sold!

these are fun. the third couple is the hippest of the bunch! as i'm not familiar with all of the preexisting patterns, are you repainting some of these at all?
