Title: Farm 3716 - when was it discontinued and a question about the roof
Post by: playmofire on January 03, 2007, 17:16:44
Does anyone know when the 3716 farm was discontinued and whether the gables and roof will fit the Steck houses?

If I'm not mistaken I think it was retired around 1998-99 when the newer farm #3072 came about.

Hello, Gordon ...

The 3716 Farm was produced during the 90's and discontinued sometime around 1998 or so.

3716 IS Steck-System!

See attached photo of supports being used with the Steck Castle ...

All the best,
Richard

Gordon, are you contemplating buying the set? I say go for it if you've found it in a shop or somewhere.  :yup: Gotta love that steck!  ;)

Hello, Gordon ...

I absolutely agree with Robbie! If you can buy this set, GET IT!

And, if you would like to see some more great photos by Guillermobil (he did the Castle with farm parts above), then click HERE ... (http://www.playclicks.com/noticias/foro/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6759&perpage=15&pagenumber=1)

All the best,
Richard

I'm wanting some roof parts for my mediaeval house and barn but I'm not sure they're still available as it has vanished from DS, so I saw this as a possible alternative DS source.

Having said that, and looking at the pics of it (thanks for the link, Richard), it has attractions.
