Zirndorf is NOT going to be happy ...
The moveable legs are interesting, but not very well designed.
Playmobil's design was much better (see attached photo)
Thanks, Andi!
All the best,
Richard

The figure looks pretty funny, but I wouldn't mind having the front loader. :-\
Ben <*)

They didn't even bother to change the little pictures next to the figure >:(
But you're right there Ben, the front loader looks nice.
-
Sure Zirndorf don´t will be happy... BUT the motor can maybe be build inside the original yellow work engin from Playmobil and the engin operated by remote control, with a little very little changes of pieces.
To Richard, I would like see the inside parts off legs from your sherif. When Playmobil deposed a patent in France, this inclued a possibility of moved legs, but I never see one of this on the Playmobil market. I mind your is not original. If you´re the owner of this, can sure show us this detail. You can see a french version of this patent on my web side and see this detail on the one side of document ( You need to clic on the sentence and wait that Adobereader finish to download ).
http://www.tricornejock.com/html/vintage.html ( Page 10 from 11, detail 48 and 49 )
You can see one prototyp too ( on the web side too, clear blue ), a first version with 2 separat legs... but it was a prototype and the design was different. The only next version of separat moving legs are the football serie 30 years later and it is not a same technic...

You can see another "great" copy of Playmobil here:

Best regards, :)

Hello, TJ ...
Thank you for the link to your French Playmobil klicky with the moveable legs.
Click HERE (http://gardenwargaming.com/howto/articulated/articulated.html) for the complete story of Playmobil's other "Kickin' Klicky."
All the best,
Richard

Wooowww!!! Thank you Richard 8} ;D
Great pics, I´m very surprised from this. The technic about a hinge is not a secret and I mind that a good customizer can do it. But when I see the under side of foot, like this I NEVER see ( and I can tell you... I know a lot of first version... ).
I go to look your pics again... :wow:
Thanks!
TJ ;)

and more ..........................
i hate this..........cheap trash >:(
Why we had a copyright ???
Some of the china stuff had a CE mark !
I dont know why this stuff can get this mark ???
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CE_mark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CE_mark)
But i think this CE mark was a copy , too !

Well, I guess knock-offs are found with most of the popular toys... and since China has an exploding economy, it is very conceiveable that knock-offs from other chinese manufacturers will pop up on the market, so fighting them will be a humungous undertaking 8}...
I think if one is to choose quality he will not turn to those chinese toys, but will stick to the original. Perhaps those sets are only interesting as a curiosity in certain collections.
At least that is why I have a Schenk set in my collection: I think of it as a curiosity and I think Schenk has reached some sort of cult status (at least that's what I feel about it) because it was one of the first copies that was really similar to Playmobil.

Interesting. The klickies do not interest me in the slightest, but that remote controlled excavator looks really good. I REALLY like it in that bright green...
-
Lol , this was fun reading all
thanks for bringing this up :)
I also like to play with remotes and playmo ;) nothing published yet ;)
Still bit curious of wot actions this loader could make
or can he just drive around , prob would looking at distance command
Nice challenge though ;)
Looks to me the loader is almost as similar as the playmo model

This is an old thread, but here is a link to their webpage.

The Klicky's themselves aren't to my interest, but I like all of the vehicles especially the logging front end loader with trailer !

I like the fact they are r/c.

The fork lifts say friction on the left edge of the package, does that mean they are pull back & let go to roll ????
-
thanks Richard for sharing this interesting moving legs prototype! (I couldnt see any of Tricornjock's links but I get the general idea) I would need a bent arm more than moving legs ;D (not a flexible elbow but just a more permanenly bent arm (than female klicky arms) some day...no heating & bending! :P )

Here is the link to the R/C ones:
http://www.folintoys.com/en/types.asp?types=300 (http://www.folintoys.com/en/types.asp?types=300)
http://www.folintoys.com/en/types.asp?page=2 (http://www.folintoys.com/en/types.asp?page=2)
The friction ones might be push forward and they continue to roll (?).
I would bet the R/C prices are probably very inexpensive compared to what it would be if it was a Playmobil one. Mind you, the quality of the plastic is probably not the same.

I'm really interested in the toys that are linked to Wesley Myers post!
The remote control end loaders, cement mixer, garbage trucks, friction fork lifts, etc., look too much like PM designs for them not to be associated in some way to official Playmobil ???. Could these be a Chinese design that is no longer being produced when PM was manufacturing toys for the USA market in China? BTW, wasn't Famobil mentioned by Damo an official division somewhere in Spain of Playmobil?

I just researched the letter in the topic area "About us" that shows they are a China based business in conjunction with a British company called SGS United Kingdom Limited.
