Hi all, my empire finally has a king and a proper coat of arms. He's living in the castle near the cathedral of Kodosak. I wanted to put the royal power opposite to the clerical power, that's why both building are close to each other. Eh, the main raison is the lack of space of course. Building lots are rare and very expensive in Kodosak ;D ;D ;D (like in most PM cities).
Still need to find a suitable name yet, for the king, queen, the other protagonists and the royal house itself.

They look great!
I suppose the torsos and legs are painted (red/white)?
-
Yes, I'm not a gifted painter but I managed to get a decent result. I like those split colours you see very often in medieval heraldic clothing.

Great customs Kenc, though the heraldry goes against the rules. (white lion on white field…)

I know Arnaud, I read it in the books about heraldy. The thing is, I first wanted a sable lion, but then the coat of arms would ressemble too much of the classic black / red / white lions of the 3667 small castle. In regard to the simple composition, I also wanted a design that's not the same as an existing coat of arms, by breaking the rules on putting a silver lion on a half silver background, chances are great it isn't similar to any existing design. ;D ;D ;D
The design comes from: white and red are the colours of my hometown Dendermonde in Belgium, and the lion is the white version of a Flemish lion. Simple but good enough for me :)

Very impressive castle!! The king and queen look fantastic, too!! ;)
-
Very nice your King is a very interesting looking figure and the custom heraldry and paint job looks veyr effective when you view them as a group :)
-
You my good sir did an AMAZING job!!

Fully correct or not, I like the coat of arms. :)
I'd give the King himself the heraldry too, on the torso...
Theoretically I should be able to see the formidable city of Kodosak and it's awesome cathedral from here in Destelbergen, but I don't... Maybe I should travel a bit closer to Dendermonde one day to have a good look ;D

Great pictures. :)

More pics of this masterpiece please!! :yup: :yup: :yup: :yup: :yup:

Fantastic!

Maybe you could have reversed the colors on the lion too? Just my two cents, don't bother, I can't help it!

Excellent choice to use the old shiny metal parts for your king and queen and excellent set up ! impressive !!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

That is one very amazing city, it reminds me of the pictures in children's books about the middle ages, they often had drawings in a similar fasion. A grand city with colorfull knights marching out of the gates. :)
