Are there members around here who are planning to go to Heerde this weekend? I think I go saturday the 13th.
Who is going too?
-

Normaly we where going , but considering how far it is from our House , we decided we will not be there , we gonna go to a exposition the same weekend in Mont Bernanchon , last year we were in Heerde , it was a nice exposition for the 1st time he organized one :)

thanks for sharing! I think I'm going on Sunday. I always feel a bit ashamed as a teenager when there are Only little kids :-[ so to someone who has been last year, are there other people/ collectors too? ???
-
Sorry, except for you, ofcourse, Lynx!
-
I think the most visitors are adults who bring their kids as an excuse for their presence ;)

 Ok, thank you!

Wish there were those here. Or maybe it's best there isn't.
(that was my wallet! have to be careful with the darn thing!)

 but you have a point....
Are the prices shop-like or are the lower?
Not like I am going to buy some, just for the record... (Yeah, right!)
-
Actually, I don't know.. it will be the first Playmobil fair I visit. They will sell second hand as well and that means the prices
should be lower.. In case of rare and old items they could even be higher, unless the seller is ingnorant and doesn't know the true value of his stuff..

Don't be ashamed! You're just mature enough to have interests and hobbies that make you happy in spite of what others think, which is difficult as a teenager. By the time you're in your early 20s, it becomes ok to be an individual again. ;) There's people in their 60s and 70s here who play with playmobil, so you're never too old.

Birdie and I will be there in a 2 hour drive. :rainbow:
-
I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes. :)
-
Yes, have fun to whoever is going! :)

It was great!!
I bought the safari house (3433) to use in my zoo - all I need now is time and space to set it up... If I could just buy some of that ;D
edit: this is a picture of what I found:

Thank you so much for bringing it up, Lynx, we never would have known about it otherwise.
@ Playmozoo: never mind the children, nobody pays attention to who you are or what age you are. There were plenty of collectors and the sellers and people who set up the diorama's are 'kindred spirits' anyway :) They were very helpful!
Prices vary but there are always nice bargains to be found and spare parts/ seperate parts are very affordable.

I bought the Roman arena. That's not my theme + a difficult theme. :eh?:
Solid fair, lot's of goods to buy.

I went yesterday and it was awesome!

Hi! I was there on saturday and it was great.. searching for nice buys and looking at the displays..
A few pics of the displays:
Egyptians
-
World War Two... look at those awesome customs, vehicles and that statue!
-
and the American civil war with western village
-
Made no pics of my buys.. ground figures, helmets, weapons, the magic oak, two zebras, three antilopes and... yes..
an ibex (for 9 euro :()... a cup of coffee and I was broke. Went home with an empty wallet and a smile on my face..
-
Wow, that Egyptian display is impressive! :)
-
Looks like there were some great displays, thanks for posting your pictures
-
Thanks for the pics Lynx!
Loved the egyptians, but those soldiers...
(and the statue is indeed GORGEOUS)
-
Wow!!! Amazing dioramas!!! The display with Egyptians is awesome.
Many thanks for the pictures Lynx.
George.

Thank you very much for the additional pictures of the event Lynx
They all look great and a lot of work went into them all
That WW2 cafe looks so relaxing of a place to have a snack and tea  I do not have all the modern cafe sets yet but was wondering if the weighter tray he is holding above his head is stock or a custom, it a neat idea and very realistic especially with the wine on it
-
I really like the holster (sp?) on the statue.. I'd need to do something like that for a custom I have in mind.. There is no holster for those modern pistols, right?
-
The egyptian theme is great ! The cafe in the WW II looks like the one from the TV serie 'Allo ! Allo !' I can hear the police man already : 'Good meurning' ;D
-
Egyptian display looks great, and while the WW2 customs are well made, I simply am not fond of seeing clickies like that.

Exactly what we were thinking when we saw that - I'm guessing the 'designer' went for that look :)
