As my wife lived in Sheffiled, I'm sure she'd like to know too.

And I can't see the boxes! :'(

A very nice looking figure, that a good use of the 3813 Sheriff torso.

One question though, is he wearing 2 capes, it looks like one long and one short cape on his back?

Wonderful custom, TJ, and terrific presentation too! :wow:

There's only one pic so far, Gordon, and it's linked to imageshack, so your browser must be blocking it again.

The URL is http://img357.imageshack.us/img357/202/doctorspecialfr9.jpg, but I shall re-attach it to this post just in case you don't see it at that link either.

Thanks for the help, Sylvia.  I'll follow up this imageshack problem.

It is, indeed, a wonderful custom.  Not sure I'd be happy with him as my doctor, though.

Hello, TJ,

Your Doctor of Sheffield is MAGNIFICENT !!!

And, looking at his face, unlike my friend, Gordon, I would love to have him as my doctor. His face reminds me of someone ... ;)

Thanks and all the best,
Richard

I was curious about the background to this doctor too, so I googled ;D and I found this:

http://www.irlandeses.org/cathain.htm

Could this be him? Seems to fit with the period represented by TJ's custom.

Here the back side of this doctor.

I´ve tryed this technic at first when I make a knights Customs. There are 2 caps. At top you can save a cap with a originaly form. The second cap down, you have to change a form, cutting, glasspaper, etc... and after to glue it together with warm-glue.

You can see another results of this technic by the customs: "Light of Spirit" on the web side ( Photos and customs ) or here:

Best regards  ;)
TJ

Nice of you to say so, Richard, but I don't carry a pretty lethal looking stick!

If it isn't him ... It should be, Sylvia ...

Great research (as usual) ... ;)

All the best,
Richard

Thank you for the extra picture, Richard.  The figure is certainly a very accurate and neat piece of customising.

Wow, this is cool. Especially the cape is a brilliant idea. Maybe I find some day also a usage for this idea  ;D
