Not sure where to post this, so mods please feel free to move this topic to another board if need be. :)
Anyways, just out of curiosity, what are everyone's favourite Playmobil knight factions?
If I am missing a faction, let me know. :)

I voted for the swan knights..... which are the tower knights and the Fleur-de-lis ? ??? are they the knights for the old green and red flags?
Note: Georginetto is gonna get mad... you forgot the nuremberg guards!!!!!!! :o :(o): :(o):

I like anything with the Celtic type knotwork on them, so I think the recent green dragon - Elf type would be my favorite

I chose Black Lions because it is (in my opinion) most like the classic heraldry that I grew up with in the pre-90's

although I love them all, I think I'm more favourable towads the black lions!

So far it seems no two people have voted the same! I voted for the red falcons.

I haven't voted basically because I like all the old Knights equally the Swans, Towers, Fleur De Lies, Black ions ??? whichever one my little Prince figure with his gold cloak is, they're what I grew up looking longingly at and they still entice me today more than any others :)

I love the old Red Falcon, which you seem to have forgotten. Came out first with the attack tower, then as a US exclusive, then as an Easter egg.
You forgot a whole bunch of Specials, like the blue Fleur de Lys, the Lion (this one was ugly anyway), the eagle and stripes quartered (also known as the wandering knight), the cow and flower quartered (with the cart)… :-[

Oh! Thanks for reminding me about all those factions! I can't add them to the poll in chronological order without mixing up all the votes, so I'll have to put them at the bottom of the options. :-\

You're missing the Crusading factions if you want to include real ones too (Teutonic Knights, Knights Templar). I'm not sure for whom it'd have been added, but I did see Nuremberg Guards on there for someone... :lol: That's why I thought that you might want to include factions based on actual ones.

Unicorns (both white and red/blue), barbarians (purple with black bull), the green knight with red cross… ;)

I dont think the ones that only have a single figure count as a faction though. :) Maybe all crusaders could be put under crusaders? Templars, hospitallers and teutonics.

Yeah, I think if you listed every special in this poll it would be a long list! Just the major factions is enough, IMO.

You have a point here Rhallius. I guess I got carried away, which I often do when we're talking about knights. So this means the Unicorn knight doesn't belong here, I guess. I have so many I forgot it only came with one set (and a blister pack, and an Easter egg, though!).

Yeah, sorry that was my fault. I was trying to add the old red falcons to the poll in chronological order, but since they were released in 1998 and many factions in the poll were released before that, once I added them and saved my changes it mixed up who had voted for what. :(
Maybe one of the mods could lock this topic and I could start a fresh poll so we could re-select our favourite factions? :)
