What a very nice assembly!  :D

Very well arranged, and as always in your photos: those little details! -- The blanket (did you killed a kilt?  :P) The pot with the green plant (looks nice) and what's the cake about in the foreground? Never have seen this before.  Is this a Playmobil item? If not, it actually looks like one due to its color shades and shape. (Is this customized or is this a real thing to eat, a cookie?)

You're correct! It's not Playmobil. It's a "Sylvanian Family" accessory. ;D
I bought a few bits and pieces from eBay a long time ago. It was well before Playmobil released the bakery or the butchery and I was looking for foodie things that might be a good scale to use with klickies.  The bread buns next to the French sticks in the basket at the back are also Sylvanian. I think they blend in quite well. :)

Uh, didn't know that there was a story around  :o
Just once have seen a postcard (?) with the turkey and one with the pilgrims sitting together with the natives.

Has this story been continued?

Hmm...

I can't take credit for actually writing the story, Jochen. :toot:

I took these photos to make some e-cards (several years apart, I might add ;D) and Richard cleverly wove a very entertaining tale to fit around the pics. The one of the turkey hiding behind the tree was only shown at GW, btw. ;)

I'm not quite sure how the story would continue from this point....  but I suppose I have a year to try and come up with something now, since it's much too late to continue it for this Thanksgiving!! ;D
