IMO, it looks very English ... :)

However, it would probably look even more English if the individual row-houses were different colours. This might be very nice by a Playmobil railroad.

That was what I thought too. :)

I guess that it's due to the way the buildings are joined together in a terraced fashion.

Oh, what a very nice neighbourhood. Looks like a Saturday forenoon. Just some guys washing their cars are missing  ;D

Very good idea with the different color shades and the foregarden fences.

That WOULD look great beside a railroad track.

I think with different colored houses it would look a little garish, IMO. I like it the way it is.
