I think you can wait, after all the box is still sealed up in your photo :P

So I went home yesterday with my parcel only to get stuck in the worst traffic jam in months. Due to an accident nearby Utrecht all traffic had to go from 5 lanes to 1 in the rush hour. Unnecessary to say I was late at home. Today a raincloud makes it impossible to make pictures this evening.
But… I did a little experiment with my camera in the iPod Touch.
No much comments, just see!

They look very good together, but in the interests of safety I think the freight car should be next to the engine.

That's a good alternative use of the air stewardess klicky.
-
That certainly seems like a great train to travel with. (I trust that your avatar helped the lady with the baby get out of the train? ;) )
-
Of course he does, and although I am not a train guard myself, I would always help a woman with a pram to board the train. For much of our trains in The Netherlands, that is 2 steps up.
-
I too like the use of the cart lady in your train, great idea
-
This was my inspiration, a Wagon Lits "stewardess" in a Dutch train.

I still have fond memories about those Wagon Lits personnel, with kind service and good and hot coffee.

SORRY, I must reply in English :-\ :
I have made some improvements to Playmobil 4124 Panorama Express wagon:
1) The plastic Playmobil wheels are replaced by LILIPUT L999304 metal wheels. The metal wheels are more solid, getting less dirty than plastic wheels and have a larger lifespan. Because of the weight of the metal wheels the center point of gravity is lower, giving the car better riding qualities. If you have plastic Playmobil rails I advice you not to do this. The plastic rails will worn out sooner because of the metal wheels.
2) On one end of the Panorama Express wagon I've put end signals. These are stickers from LGB, and available as spare part. Contact your local LGB dealer.
3) All seats are now occupied by Playmobil people. That's the way to earn money as a railway company!

Very nice colourful train, you've got some great looking passengers like t he baby in the car seat and the man with the modern hair and the eyebrows, your train guard is very nice as well :)
-
Looks great! The stewartess works great there, too.
-
I am very pleased with the quality of the Playmobil trains, so I added a new car. It is an open freight car, with opening doors. The Playmobil cars are better affordable than the LGB ones ;).

I like the addition of the LGB rear lights and the idea of the metal wheels. I think I am right in saying that they will also give a louder clickety-clack noise over the metal rails.

I have three of the open freight cars like that and I have fitted one with a custom mineral load. Here's a link:

An alternative load would be cat litter; glued in place and painted black it will look like coal.
You're right about the cost of LGB rolling stock, plus they are designed as light railway stock and so only have a single, central buffer.

Thank you for the tip :) !

I found that out when I bought some LGB trucks. However, you can still run them with PM OK.
