Title: La Bastille - July 14th 1789

Here are some pictures of the diorama I have made with my friend JPdu9eme for an exhibition northen part of France last year. It took us hours and hours to setup this scene...

I have inserted a Mp3 USB disk system inside the house behind this scene. This was to play music, noises, voices... to give life to the the scene.

I've looked at this many times, Alizobil, and it's absolutely awesome. La Bastille is so gigantic! The setup is really cool, and it must have taken a long time to imagine, design, and set up. ;)

Thank you so much for reposting this here.  I have been to your site in the past, but I had forgotten how incredibly detailed every nook and cranny is of your dioramas.

wow - laughed at the head on the end of the spike :lol:  But great work.  The bastille looked very imposing.

Great scenes!!  8-) And La Bastille, well she surely looks impressive!
"Liberté, égalité et fraternité! Vive la République!"  ;D
And even a former belgian prime-minister occasionally sings "la Marseillaise"  ;)

Great scenes the castle and all the soliders on top are really impressive even one who has been shot  :'(, great scnees of rebellion as well  :)

Wow, so... enormous. The castle is definetely IMPRESSIVE!

(the head is a bit much for my playmosensitivity, but that's just me ;) )

Love the anrgy mob, they look impressive (though everyone seems so happy  :lol:)

Awesome diorama - I wish I could have seen it in real life to soak up every detail.
