does anyone know from what set this figure is? i have no clue if its a selfmade custom or from a set.. found this in an ebay lot i got today..

maybe from an old safari set? i really have no clue...

This figure is either a custom or from LYRA.In LYRA sets sometimes colors used to be different from that was pictured in the box!If it's a custom,hands can be removed and replace the white hands with brown,without broken.I used to remove hands with a pair of scissors and most of times,they were removed successfully!

This photo you posted, is from LYRA NEW.I mean the original LYRA sets that were produced in 70s and 80s!When LYRA was produced playmobil in high quality,there were used materials 50% that was sent in Greece by Geobra,and the other 50% was produced here in Greece.It was logical that sometimes colors were different from that was pictured in box!In the original LYRA sets,face and hands of black people were same as your figure!
