Yes, if only they'd made the pin on the left side of the clicky...

He's talking about the hole for the built-in gun holster, which is of course on the right side. A sword is worn on the left because you reach across your body to take it out of the scabbard.
Arnaud, maybe he's left-handed!

Wonderful customwork! He look's awesome! 8-)
You're right about the scabbard with sword, it should be on the left, it is the same problem with the redcoat-officer in set 5139 ... :-\
-
sure , lot of strange things like that with playmobil ...
-
:love:AHSO...KIREI DESU!!
those hip-guards and straps!!
I cant do this well yet with your stickers...you're the transfers-master Arnaud! ;)
(I almost missed this thread...what did you want to convey after 'IF ONLY'?

Yeap, having the pin on the left side would work much much better, but surely, you could cut a similar hole on the left side to place the pin?
Awesome custom!!!!

ooooh I hadn't noticed that  All scabbards are on the left that's right!
mmm but guns are on the right... maybe they used a mold that was meant originally for a gun holder ???

:hmm: Gas?
It's a custom samurai, you got that, haven't you? Yes, the torso was meant first to fit a gun holster, but then they produced this weird Special Knight, with no belt and this torso on which to fit a sheath. The real problem is: I can't make an army of left handed samurais!
Best,
Arnaud

yes I noticed it's a samurai :-[
What I didn't know was that the sheath HAD to be on the other side. That's what I was missing. ;) But I got it after bb explained it. ;D

It's just…the way you wrote it, it sounded like you didn't know it was a custom. :-[

And "gaston" is litterally Dutch/Flemish for "barrel of gas" ;D
(btw the firstname Gaston is in use here as well ;))
