Front buffers are wrong

Front buffers are wrong
Yes, they have to be black with white edge like the buffers at the rear of the tender.

There is a thin vertical line at the coupler of the tender (red), could be defect (better ask the seller)?!?

Yes those red ones do look wrong but if you can find them they are easy to change. If you can not find them black paint should do the trick. For the price it should be 100% stock so if you get it I would ask for a discount or offer less. just over the 200 range

What a beautiful engine   :inlove: too bad they are so rare in the US  :'(

Heres hoping you get it  :**:  you lucky guy

The black ones with printed white circle (as opposed to the white stickers on the originals) could be used as a last resort

They came on the black RC steam loco

Thank you all for the very useful info etc . I have a MIB t complete 100% 4052 and will sleep on the idea of getting another one. i shoudl really get some tenders as ( apart from my western train where i have two cabooges, one open flat wagon, one green one, one yellow one and two wetsern passenger ones) i only have 4 passenger wagons all red , two first class, two second class and really shoudl get some cargo wagons etc ...

Playmobil trains ( electrical with LGB tracks) are superb quality and its a shame they are not that appreciated as other much inferior sets in quality and design complexity ( such as playmospace  )

Anyways , i will probably buy these bumbers and keep them , thanks for the link.

Will update on any train purchases as i have a feeling i wont resist much longer

PS: Rasputin, global ebay makes a hell of a difference and is notirous for draining someone's wallet to say the least    . Its the main  reason why i didnt get the past 4 years an italian sports car which i was planning to

Yes I agree, they are never going to make electric trains again due to toy regulations. The prices have been going up forever. there are small dips but they seem to keep going up over the long run. A 5300 can easily be re-released but a electric train can not.

I wont be surprised if MIB 4052 go up to 450-500 dollars actually.  :)

I must say the 4052 stands from all the rest of the playmo locos. With its tender, two engine blocks and the front and rear lights it is a truly impressive kit and a set i always feel guilty when i remobve from its box . If anyone is willing to go into the ' proper'' electric playmobil trains i woudl advice stronly to get one of these ( they are very pricey though ) as threy truly stand out. The 4051 is a maginificent engine too and its been on sale for nearly 25 years now which is truly impressive BUT when comparing it to the 4052 , the 4052 is a on a league of its own

I was speaking some time ago to a train enthusiast ( LGB , MAERKLIN etc) and he told me in fact that the 4052 is a very respected engine by model trains enthusiasts and considered exceptional good value for money ( !!!)  :) :)

Perhaps the state is afraid that parents who bought that toy will sue the company or the state who left this toy in the market because their child had an accident ...... just guessing  ::)

i do want one so badly, i have a 4029, i add an motor block in the tender and a light, like the 4052.
I have a 4052 car, but no tender...

but still. i'm missing a 4052!

is crazy, even tender go over 140 dlls, and some engines with no side buffers go over 250!!!

the cannon was, just the spring was not  ::) its probably the "Christmas Story" movie's fault, "you'll shoot your eye out"

Chris accidentally shot me directly in the eye with one of the highest powered mechanical nerf guns out there, from about three feet away. My eye is still there, and perfectly healthy. Kids are not going to shoot their eyes out with a playmobil cannonball.
