Hopefully very soon i will shoot a video  when more improvements /additions are made with a better camera  and cameraman  with light so royal quarters and other details can be seen. Apologies for the not so good quality of video and shooting  :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

PS: can someone forward the above link/video to Klickywelt so that some playmo fans can see it there too? that will be appreciated .  :)

Well spotted Sire !!!  ;)

I think you will be one of the very  few to watch a 33min video of my creation  .. but i think its much better in slower motion and altogether much better with the music etc so i deleted the previous one  :)

:-[ I must admit I have not watched the whole thing.... yet. I will get to it, but I haven't had the concentration to do so yet. But from the bit that I have watched, this is a fantastic diorama!

I dont blame you   . I have only watched it fully a couple of times myself     :-[ :-[ :-[ BUT i think its much better this way than the previous one even shown at half speed... Its like the viewer is floating on air  in a strange way as if he/she is tipsy perhaps

WOW  :o 8} That is a very nice set up . Your work is simply amazing :inlove: great forest scene

suggestion, hang some neutral sheets to cover all the books. They create a visual distraction from such an enormous and full diorama.

Thank you Rasputin.

Reference the sheets you are 100% right . In fact thats the next think i am planning on going o but i just couldnt wait last weekend and wanted to take that video as it was done after spending two full days at the den

I will either use green or blue sheers, more keen on th eblue to create a sky background, with them i think it wil make a  lot of difference. I am trying to think of a way to set up my vikings base, vikings and vikings ships ( 4) and gauls ( light viking infantry ) and i will try and think of  way to use some of the space between the diorama and the shelves and some of the surface area of the shelves, cant really do anything else       in that room

I want to also see what is going on in your castles main quarters. You look like your back is against the wall and the room lighting is not able to penetrate at that angle. Would, could you light it up so we all could see the details inside ?

I have watched this video a few times and I am still in aww

Thank you sir   :)

The plan is to put 4 strong and proper lights in that room at four corners , there is a  fair amout of detail  in all of the 12 steck house sized rooms in the back plus the roof ( where all the gold and treasures and ancestors's ghosts of iseroth are ...   ) , next time hopefully i will have set more things such as the vikings and gauls plus some black lion guards still have about 150-200 to set !!!! ( hanging from the roofs probably   ) and take more pictures of some additions / new stuff ...

I regret i didnt use open frames for the basement too where the storage areas are. perhaps thats an improvement i should consider , could put some nice stuff there , eg lots of wine barrels and food rather than have it outside for display as now ( and create more space for black lion guards ....)

There aresome pictures of these  royal quarters rooms  in my medieval collection thread  including some recent ones   ;)
