Without the thread title, I would think "pirate" but he works as well for the French Revolution, although I'm not sure about the earrings.

I think I've seen paintings refering to such dressed up characters... The custom does remind me of something french-revolution-like...

I know that there's been a gigantic Playmobil display of the French Revolution. It included an absolutely enormous castle as la Bastille Saint-Antoine.

yes , the bastille was huge !! i try to made someting with theses hats theses days

the earing : i think they look more "poor" with that but maybe i'm wrong , it's just the begining for me in this theme , i don't make many in time .

That one looks cool too. ;) And I think the earrings fit with them nicely.

Your second custom looks good too, but once again I have the earring issue.

Justino : no problems ! your point of vue is welcome (i wish to have more criticals to do better ! ) i just look fastly on the web , on lots of pictures , i see earing (it was just a custom made with my visual memory ...) , i agree they look pirate with earing , maybe it's too much .

connifere : what mean "teaser" please ?

It's from the verb "to tease", and what I meant by it was that these customs are shown in advance because it might be possible you would make the custom of the Famous piece of Eugene Delacroix who painted liberty carying the french flag leading the revolutions to Paris.

I just think those customs fit in very well, there just like the people in the painting! :)
