Hello everyone! This photo story is about the Klicky City Customizing & Mechanical Repair automotive service center. This was one of the original photo stories I did in my Playmofriends photo gallery in 2008. Since that time, the owners of this Playmobil City business John & Josh, who are twins by the way, have been expanding, adding personnel, & equipment to make them the go to place for customizing & repairing Playmobil personally owned vehicles. They now have 6 automotive lifts, one of which is waiting for parts before being put into service, a new custom engine analysis computer, large technician repair stations, & a lot of service equipment to work on any Playmobil vehicle. While we were doing the pictures for this photo story, we were told that 2 recently customized vehicles were going to be back in the shop to receive some final equipment installations so they could go on the road. SURPRISE! It was the two new Storm Chaser vehicles that are on the Playmobil TV show Extreme Twister's! It turned out that there was a small crowd of fans along with the repair shops business customers that were mesmerized by the Storm Chaser teams & their super heavy duty vehicles,......they're great for customer relations John said ;)!
I hope you like the story!

A most excellent and extrememly well equiped mechanical repair shop, Bill!!!
Glad to see that vehicles in Klicky City are so well looked after!!!
-
great shop. I would say have your klickys drive safe, but then again your rescue units need work to.
-
Wow, BB! So much detail! Very interesting seeing what all goes on in the shop. And all this time, I thought you were customizing your vehicles, I didn't know your klickys were doing it themselves! ;)
I sympathize with the traveling family waiting for their car to be repaired.... my family once spent six hours waiting in an auto shop on the way to New York. And we weren't even out of Louisiana yet! Great start to our trip.
Love seeing the storm chaser vehicles getting work done. Those guys seem very attached to their vehicles, they wouldn't even get out! :P
Golf clubs... :inlove: I must get some of those.
-
Excellent Bill!
Your attention to detail is awesome!
I love the storm chasers . That's a MUST HAVE VAN.

Nice repair centre! ;)

Thank you for your kind comments! :)

Great shop! The storm chaser vehicles look fantastic!

That's a MUST HAVE VAN.
Agreed ;D
Bill, you have not removed the robo gang signs and designs from those van's yet... I hope the tv show is not sponsored by Robo-Gang :o

Thank you all for your positive support of this project! ;D
I've decided to leave the marking as they are, Panos! :-[ They kind of grow on you as you look at them, so I've tabled the idea of a custom cartoon twister decal for now. But if Arnuad could do some custom decals for me, I would definitely be persuaded to change the Robo Gang ones ;)!
-
I have to say that the current designs make me think of swirling wind anyway. They are oddly appropriate for a storm chaser vehicle.

Great set-up, Bill, with some very neat touches. Nice to see Tim_w busy working away.
The working articulated spotlight is very clever indeed.
