Title: transportation for clickies suggestions.
Post by: Rhalius on March 24, 2012, 18:02:59
There's already quite some horses, planes, trains and automobiles, etc for our clickies, but theres still many more possible.
This thread is dedicated to discuss all means of transportation that clickies can use, be it vehicles or animals, what you would like to see for this.

I'll start with some suggestions of my own:

-Large space ship.
I don't believe any spacecrafts with room for more than one clicky have been released, I would really love to see a space ship that has several rooms and a roof that can be removed. Kind of a miniature star trek ship with a bridge, medical bay, cantina and bedroom with bunk beds.

-Armored money truck.
It just seems like something nice for cops and robbers scenarios, and it would look pretty cool.

-crafteable raft.
Pirates had several rafts, but I think it would be cool if the raft would actually be made from various parts that could be used for other purposes when loose.
That way shipwrecked clickies could assembe their raft through play.

-Medieval royal carriage.
I don't believe any carriage has been released for the medieval theme yet, it could include a king or queen with armed soldiers and a treasure chest.

-Delta flyer.
This could probably work even, could be funny to see a clicky flying by on a delta flyer.

I don't know what a "delta flyer" is, but Playmobil already  have these:

Golf cart- we have had some golf clubs, but never a cart

a different camel saddle - I'd like one that can fit two child klickys for camel rides at the zoo

segway - I'd love to see a real, modern-looking segway, aside from the one in the space theme.

The armoured truck and golf cart are great suggestions

Playmobil could modify the zoo keepers buggy/truck to be a golf cart

One other thing that I would really really love to see is a small ride on lawnmower. We had the mini tractor, but a smaller lawnmower would be awesome

Damo :)

Yes, they could. I love that vehicle, as every zoo seems to have those buggys everywhere. I wonder if I could customize it.

That would be cool. And I reckon it'd even be cool if there were a fantasy-type Medieval royal carriage, not quite like some of the ones out now, but more Medieval in appearance as you suggest.

I love the idea of the armoured car! They did make an armoured western carriage, why not a modern one?

No idea what its called in english, delta vliegen is this though.

http://www.deltavliegen.nl/

I thought it was a straight translation, my mistake.  ;)

I like the idea of a golf cart, could be fun to have a little golf set including a golf cart and two golfing clickies in full attire.

.

Ah, we call it a hang glider, but I can see where the Netherlands name comes from - it's shape and purpose.

heh yes, I couldnt think of the name. Either way it seems like something fun for clickies, could make for a nice decoration when hanging it on a string from the roof. Helicopters may often be a bit too heavy for that.

how about a parachuted klicky with a rubberband launcher. the kind you would see in a quarter machine

there is the kind that has the cheese cloth instead of strings so no worries of kids hanging themselves on it or parents trying to hang themselves after trying to untangle it  :P just for all those safety rule junkies

Oh, and I've been really really really wanting them to do a hot air balloon!

And a parachute would be great too.

That's a great idea. I'm surprised it hasn't been done already though.

A hot air balloon would sure be a challenge, something like a balloon would need to stay above the basket and it probably shouldnt be a real balloon since then the clickies might fly away.

Perhaps it could be an idea for a custom though? for anyone thats rather crafty.
Just make sure to give the clickies a custom parachute as well then so they can bail out when things go wrong.  ;)

That would be quite funny, though. Imagine walking around and a balloon full of Klickys comes floating down in front of you, lost by someone days ago and finally returning to the Earth.

You might need to give those clickies a note then, so the finder can bring them home.  ;)

With the right customisation, I reckon this set could make for a nice plane of that era:

I could see that fitting nicely into the Victorian theme.

Emma has made some beautiful custom hot air balloons, the old-fashioned kind, using the large easter eggs. I'd love to see some from playmobil, particularly of the more modern type as kids will relate to them better. I think the key would be to have the "balloon" be very light weight, and then it could be supported by rather thin legs that look like ropes.

That would be quite funny, though. Imagine walking around and a balloon full of Klickys comes floating down in front of you, lost by someone days ago and finally returning to the Earth.

I have mentioned it before but how about a double decker bus from england, wouldn't it be neat? Also a San Fransico cable car and how about the subway that we were promised years ago

More mass transportaion elements

A rickshaw would be really cool too.

San Fransisco bought a bunch of those and they travel up and down the wharf district so I would have no objections as they are both equally pretty

Did anybody mention a gondola or sky tram ?

Any kind of Medieval transport device would be great for me. Carts, wagons, Gypsy wagons, or anything really.
