Hello I've had some wins on Ebay which have arived over the last 2 weeks or so, finally this weekend manged to get some time to take a few photos.
First off my loyal old Policeman got some new accessories, a spare Police helmet, a radio which I think is a later issue one, some handcuffs and a little LEGO piece as well for good measure

Of course he had to test out his new handcuffs to see whether they were up to standard ;)

Wonder what's inside this parcel?

Looks like someone's been busy entertaining themselves on the journey over ;D

"I think I can see a face in there"
"Wow where am I? Who are all you guys?" "You all right mate you look as though you've had a rough ride?"
I'm sure I remember having a bike like this, it sure is in good nick
(http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g462/DoctorDalek6/P1250876web.jpg)
"That's a mighty nice looking bike you've got there, clearly you've taken good care of it" "Thanks mate, it looks like it's got the same number as on your vest and the same colour scheme as well. Would you like to take it for a spin?"

Offering some friendly tips, and from there on in they've been an inseperable pair
(http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g462/DoctorDalek6/P1250885web.jpg)
As far as I can remember the bike and rider in blue and green are the same as the ones I had as a kid, it's really reenergised me playing around with the little fella speeding him along on the carpets and banisters he's great really love the bright colours of his uniform and the bike's so realistic looking I love it :D ;D. I'm trying to resist the temptation of doing my old trick of taking it apart and putting together to many times as I seem to remember the handlebars getting loose after a while although I always did love to explore the mechanis of these things spent many a time happily dissecting my Playmobil Formula 1 car and then putting it back together and of course doing pretend tyre changes (only had the 1 set ;) ;D) and the like at pit stops

Aye I should think my Action Men probably think the same thing until I show them what I've bought for them either that or they think more newcomers to compete for attention ;D ;)

Thanks I did it a fair bit with my Action Men the hard part is taking photos while your opening them the temptation is normally just to rip it all open which normally hapepns and then I recreate the photos later ;)
Nice to see your clickies welcomeing the newcomers. :)
Thanks inspite of my Policeman testing his handcuffs on the Pirates then they're all a genuinely kind and friendly bunch :) ;)
Great pics! A very fun way of showing new arrivals!

OT: I like 12" figures too... Post pics of yours in the PFZ?
(though I became spoiled from Dragon/BBI/Hot toys - action men are a bit.... wanting now - though I have a few)

Cool good to hear I've got a fellow fan on here, I've got loads of photos of the men. I collect the Vintage and Modern AM mainly, got some of the 40th anniversary ones which are based aorund the originals, plnety of modern villains including a Cybercontroller from Doctor Who, a couple of Max Steels which are similar to Modern AM, the Thunderbids brothers (I had Scott as a kid and one of the Gardener's found a Virgil head which inspired me to search out a donor body) and a slightly smaller Lone Ranger figure who I also had as a kid even though I thoguht he was AM :-[ ;D ::) probably got over 40 figures in all no dragon or the like though.
You'll have to excuse me if I ask for clarification on which section to post these in as I can't see a clear Off Topic best to check and get it right instead of getting in trouble for posting it in the wrong place. I feel some AM/Playmobil team up photos coming ;D ;)

I think you need 30 posts to see it, mate.

You can put these photos in the Humor, Games, & More board in the Playmo-Free Zone. :) I don't think there is any post limit to see it, you just have to be signed in. http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?board=12.0

Only members who have already reached Playmo Enthusiast* level will be able to read or post in the PFZ boards
I think there is, but I'm not totally sure... ;)
-
Hm, I had forgotten that. Now I remember we changed it a while back for security reasons.

Even more motivation for me to upload some more photos at the weekend ;D ;) :)
