If the yellow knights are the new ones, they haven't been available yet. I have been clicking since January to no avail. I figured the yellow house would be out with it being on sale. I bought some last chance items last week and couldn't get the mongol either. That was short lived.

when the green car discussion happened I was told by playmobil staff that a new shippment was on the way of the new add-ons :crossed: :prays: :sorrow: I really want to believe in that ::)

i am in the US, and i ordered the Earl and Countess about a month ago. Maybe they are out now. I also had one of the yellow houses in my shopping cart a few weeks ago, and then didn't order it....and when i went back to get it...they were not available. so maybe they are sold out now :(

I really really really hope that's true! I wanted the car so bad, but have been completely broke since they were released and not buying anything. Now that I am finally able to buy again, it's not there! :hissyfit: I wanted several barrels, too. :'( After all this effort to be able to get the things we want, they need to give us a little longer to be able to get them over here in the US. We live off commission, and Chris makes alot more during the first half of the year than the second, in his line of work.

i ordered the Earl and Countess about a month ago.
I wanted those forever and could never find them anywhere. Then I found them at a shop that now has piles of them (like 10-15 of them last time I was there). :lol:

At least in the US you can get the DS sets in some regular toystores... here hey are only available in the funpark :(

Well... I don't know where u at, but san diego California is very limited stock, we only have toys r us with small inventory, and another small toyshop in the most expensive mall of the city, so... Not very good!

I hear you - difficult over here in NZ too. Playmobil doesn't always make it that easy to buy their product :-\

I know of only one place in the North and South Carolina area that stocks most of the add on catalog. I'm fortunate to get to shop there. Their sets are overpriced but their add on's are the same price as the website.

There's one or two places I know that seel the add ons. I stopped going to the one because they mark the stuff up 25% then mark it down 20% as a big sale. There other at least pretty much keeps it at msrp.

There's a nice little store in downtown Olympia Washington called Wind Up Here that has Playmobil as about 1/3 of it's invetory :). They have a spinning rack of loose DS items, mostly animals, marked "Bulk Playmobil". When I just want, for example, one warthog or 5 or 6 guinea pigs I'll shop there, but the high prices usually keep me to the stuff on Playmobil.com.

One of the stores that carries DS items is The Corner Toy Store .com. The sell on eBay as well as their website. The prices are competitive but the shipping to Canada is too much. I've communicated via email a few times and the responses have been quick and courteous.

I just ordered on from King Author's Court, which still has them in stock. Came out to just under $22 with shipping.

If it's available in Germany and listed in the USA it will be available there. Things sell out right away due to supply and demand. People have no patience anymore.
A way to find out for real would be to contact Playmobil USA and ask them.

It's listed in Canada and other countries. I'm sure they pulled it off the site until they get more in.
Either that or federal regulations effectively banned it because they thought the steering wheel was on the wrong side. :lol:

I'm beyond jealous of the old items that have shown up on the German Playmobil site...such as the Hot Dog Stand 7781. The prices are quite low also. In the US, we didn't get anything exciting in the 10 pages of Last Chance items. :-\

Yeah, I just took a look. Very jealous. The old airport for only 40€ is especially cool.

I found a lot of stuff to buy in the US but then we collect all themes.
Last chance items are left over wharehose stock so each web site should have different selections, or at least that is how I understood it.
I guess I may have to go have a look around

Some of the items, such as the three new redcoats, are back in stock but who knows for how long. They do seem to be out of a lot lately. :(

To help end speculation (or that was the intention...) I emailed the USA Playmobil and asked them what's up with the olde car. Response as follows:

Set 6240 is currently out of stock and we do not know when we will have it available.

To critically evaluate this, all they stated is they don't know when. Not IF but when.
Later this year may seem like a long time but they're still around in the rest of the world, we know from experience Germany had trouble keeping these new releases in stock when they first came out, too. Tell people to wait for a long time and you don't have to worry about constant queries.
