Here we go again ;)! This is a photo story showing the Playmobil City Fire Department's FireFighting Ships 11 & 12, that are stationed on the Playmobil Great Lakes, & Playmobil City Port & Harbor responding to onboard ship fires & rescue of ship wreck survivors. These ships are connected to the PCFD Station 12 & subject to that station's command.

These look awesome! I like boats, I really should have more of them.
-
Hmmm, the firefighter who painted those flames on the boats should have his occupation reexamined.

I totally agree with that! I've always wondered what made Playmobil want to do that!
Thank you everyone, for the kind comments! ;D

Yeah, the flames are really weird! But then we recently had some firemen arrested for arson around here.....

great rescue boats BB. I think this truck might need a a better paint color http://www.ferrarafire.com/NewDeliveries/Pages/pumpers/4638.html

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: We're going to have to break into BB's house one night and give some of his firetrucks a new custom paint job. ;)

Thank you, Clong!
I agree! Years ago the fire trucks in Hershey Pa. were all painted chocolate brown because of the candy factory there! I'm surprised they weren't involved more accidents with people chasing the fire trucks to take a bite out of them!
-
very cool pics, Bill!
is that boat customized? i really like it
-
Ooh, I bet those brown ones were pretty! And for the record, our firetrucks around here generally are not purple and gold. ;)

Shipping by mail would be very expensive, but I'd be willing to help how ever I can ;D! There's one thing for sure, there's a lot of us here that are birds of a feather! ;)

Still catching up here, just found this, great pair of fireboats you have, I wonder about those flames too, fingers crossed a vessel of the same class should be arriving at Mercia Fire & Rescue headquarters in the near future, quite what they'll do with it when it arrives I don't know but the chief has decreed that there should be a fireboat & water rescue section and it will be so. When it does arrive I will be studying these pics again very closely and looking to see if any post production modifications need to be made, apart from the chief's suggetion of a fishing rod to catch supper with when it's quiet, I guess I'm going to need to find some floodlights at the very least. :thanks: :)9 I hope that was just a training exercise and nobody was actually in peril, somehow the old skipper looks like he knows his stuff and seems right in his surroundings. Our congratulations to your Department on their vessels, will they just have their numbers or will they be named as well?

Hello Bil.
The ship is very nice, I like it very much and everything on this are wonderful. Well done. :)9 :)9 :)9 :)9
I don't collect this theme (I have only the set 3128) but I must say that the fire figures are very well made, from paymobil company.
George. :hatoff:

Thank you kindly for your all's support of this on going theme's projects! There is no intention of naming the Fire Fighting Ships at this time. But I have considered it. Maybe I need to have a contest to hear what members here would come up with in ways of names for them to see if it would be a valid project. The name winners would be added to the bows under the numbers,......hmmmmm ;)

There are several modifications that have been added to these ships that were not included in their original state. A second water monitor, & plumbing, the rear crane & winch combination, the diver & equipment, additional personnel with optional construction & firefighting helmets & floatation vests, 2 high intensity flood lights & poles, the rear work deck steering wheel & console, a laptop computer for GPS & communication tasks located in the galley, & additional hand held radios, GPS monitors, binoculars, hand held spot lamps & flash lights.
