Title: Victorian Swimsuits

Every year since I've been actively writting short (and sometimes in-concluded :P ) photostories, I take on my vacations some clickies for shooting pics. Last year were the vikings, and before that some Arabs :love:
This year (I just came back from the beach) I decided I wanted to do something cool and different. So I came up with the idea of a Victorian holiday at the beach. BTW this could totally go also in the Brainstorming for playmobil section ;D
One thing I was lacking was Victorian beachwear. And honestly I have never seen it before made with clickies.

Researching a little I found these images which gave me the inspiration for my very simple customs. :love:

This first pic is very Victorian and some of the very first types of swimsuits for women

This is a later Victorian and is which I took to make the clicky ladies

This is a later beachwear, surely 1920's so it would be Edwardian, but it works too. (The Victorian Playmobil Theme is actually Edwardian BTW)

Post by: Wolf Knight on February 25, 2012, 16:44:46: Gaston these are brilliant!!! the gentlemen are soooo funny, they look like they got a sunburn :lol: Did you do anything on those arms? ... hmm now that I look at your last pic again, they are standard issue arms... so perhaps unintentionally, you produced a very nice sunburn effect due to lighting in the first male swimsuit pic The ladies seem very playfull and carefree ;D

Panos I didn't realised about he sunburned guys :lol: but you are right, they look pinkish :lol:, That was totally by accident, maybe had to do with the automatic color-correction feature. ;D
