Hogwarts - slightly different from at Kirkbean - bigger - the overall display was 12 feet x 8 feet this time, with more towers and more students and teachers.
Hogsmeade - more shops and more detail.
Altogether it took about 10 hours to build; with help from Damo and his mum and dad and about 3 hours to dismantle!
I'll post pictures of Hogwarts first.
First an overall view...

I was pleased with the overall display, but still have some things I want to add/change so I am planning to build the larger version again for Kirkbean.
I'll add Hogsmeade photos in a new thread later.

Quality! This is fantastically done! It is impressive as a Medieval castle and town alone, but your themed touch is nice. That haunted house in the corner looks cool too, and I hope you had enough time to enjoy it after all the time setting it up before you dismantled it!

Superb, Elaine!!! Love the new design and all the extra details that you added since last year! It really great redoing something you have done before, you can add, improve and...make bigger!!!! Excellent!!

Ooh Elaine - have been waiting for this with baited breath and you have not disappointed!

Looks fantastic Elaine! Seems much more comprehensive than the last version, and I'm sure the next will be even more so

Great work, everyone! That proves that Playmobil could do this type theme! ;)

Wow, that is a fantastic Playmo version of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade! Great job!

Congratulations, this is quite an accomplishment. Hogwarts looks wonderful. There are a lot of klickies in grey jackets and capes there. I am off to look at the photos again, more slowly.

I love it - and I don't really know HP, and not a big fan of the little I know!
My work friend ADORED it - she's a HP fan...

You've even got the bridge! Excellent work.

Excellent use of steck. I love your set up its just magnificent and a reminder that steck is the very best of playmobil has ever created.
I am infact glad you used the old style fortifications, i think they look a bit better than those of the divine 3666 and in way i think more old due to their more simplistic design ...
Love your customs too, altogether a grand steck display queen Elaine !!!!!! :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:
