Hello I am from Portugal. I am not a collector but I always find amazing Playmobils . I buy the first one to my son in 88 when he was almost 3 years old. The next years I buy many boxes as he play a lot.
Now I am organizing the boxes, and so many memories came back, some boxes have strong memories. But my function with playmobils was always organize, not play ;-). Some boxes it was me that have to follow the instructions, as my son was too young and my husband wasn't his style, I think as I was a lover of Lego when I was little in someways playmobil is a little like Lego.
I only have old playmobils, I don't buy neither I sell, one day who knows when my son has children, they will love to play with them :-)
I have learned so much about playmobils in the last weeks.
Now I wash the parts, clean the boxes, make the inventory of each box and close again!

A warm welcome from the UK, Paula!
You must have some wonderful old sets which many of us will never have seen. Would you add to your organising taking photos of the boxes and the figures etc and posting them for us in Collector's Corner? That would make many people very happy! :)

I am a very bad photographer, I always was, now with digital cameras is a little better :-) but even so...
But scan of the boxes I can.
But I don't have experience with forums. How do I put the pics? Now I am organizing two boxes of space (3509, 3534), truly is the theme I always like less (sorry to the lovers of space theme) and realize the boxes have a kind of instructions in the sides.
I will scan the boxes but you have to tell me how to put in the forum, I don't have any server to put pictures .
Tahara
I already learn some things in your webpage :-) , for instance errors of the figures, I have figures with errors.

Paula, you can follow instrutions in the following thread for posting pics
http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=76.msg534#msg534
You can also upload photos in Photobucket and then post their image address in your post, then a pic will be part of your post, and not an attachment.
Hope this helps.

Wolf Kinight
Thanks for the explanation
Sorry to ask but in what subject forum do I put the messages with the links to photobucket? I already create an account to photobubucket and upload pics from a box, I try to create an album here but I do not know put the images in the album ... So I try a message but in what subject, is not a review only pics.

You can insert pictures in any board/thread you believe is appropriate for the picture. I see you placed the diorama boxes in the ''collector's corner'' board. That's good! That's were they belong. If you had made the diorama yourself, the pictures could be placed in the suboard ''dioramas and buildings''
hmmm now that I think about it, i've never uploaded any pics nor made any photoalbum in the photoalbum section... So I am not very sure what to advise... just upload the pics and create the album, or vice versa... I'll look into it...

Hi there, I've been absent for 6 months so now I have to welcome all new members since then. Welcome from Amsterdam!
About the pics, for me I use "save as", choose JPEG and there is an option to downsize it (<100kb)
have fun!
