Title: Visual guide to hair types
Post by: GrahamB on February 12, 2012, 20:24:04
Whilst trying to find the right hair for some 'bald' Klickies I acquired, I was making heavy use of PlaymoDB (don't we all?) so I decided it might be a good idea to create a visual guide to help. I found 146 types (style/colour combinations) in PlaymoDB and tabulated them all in an Excel spreadsheet, along with pictures from PlaymoDB and (where known, about half of them) part numbers. I hope this might be useful to other Playmobil fans, so having checked with Heather, I am now making this available.

The Excel file is large (over 20Mb) but there is a pdf file too (482Kb) for those who don't have Mr. Gates excellent Office software. They can be found here:

I must acknowledge the very heavy reliance these documents have on PlaymoDB for content, but any mistakes are mine. There are many Klickies still to be added to PlaymoDB, but this gives a starting point and I hope to update it regularly. Any problems with accessing the files, please let me know- I am new to dropbox!

That's nice GrahamB :)

Thank you!

(wish it was .xls instead of the newer office - here at home I mostly use win2k, and can't open those...)

This is wonderful! :wow: Thanks so much for sharing this. I've already learned something just from a quick glance... had no idea there was a gray ponytail!

Graham,

Do you want us to send in additions and corrections, or just-leave-you-the-heck-alone and you'll update when you can?

There are 2 types of children's white hair, e.g.

One type (gnome's) glows in the dark, one (dwarf's) doesn't...

It would be great to receive any corrections and additions as you think of/find them- the information in the Guide comes from PlaymoDB, so please also send corrections to Heather at playmodb@gmail.com

I will add glow-in-the-dark hair- thanks!

Graham
