Well, almost a year after it took place I've managed to get round to uploading some photos of the 2011 Knaresborough Playmobil exhibition that Mark (playmofirth) organised.
Two overall views. (New buildings related to the railway are being built.)

Detailed views.

I've still beaten you, Gordon :D
Don't even know where mine went! :-[
Damo :)

Next the airport, with two overall scenes to start with:

Hm, someone's holiday hasn't got off to a good start! :(
(http://i704.photobucket.com/albums/ww48/playmofire/Playmobil/Knaresborough%20Playmobil%20display%202011/Airport/Airport0006.jpg)
The plane spotters are enjoying themselves:
The passengers are queueing at security...
...while their plane is being made ready out on the tarmac:

I can't remember who made this ( :-[), but I think it was Mark (or maybe Elaine).

A bit of both: Mark's main airport building with my 4311 Airline terminal joined onto it.

Thanks, Elaine, I thought it was a joint effort but wasn't 100% sure.

And now, the circus (and I know this is Elaine's creation).
Paying at the cash desk (I'm glad that tiger's not real!):
Hm, looks like someone thinks this clown's a bit scary:
It looks a full house today:
Both the band's are playing (hopefully the same tune):
First on are the clowns:
Then the performing dogs:
(Maybe not politically correct, but then life was different in the past.)
And that's the first half of the show.
-
Well, after the interval, it's back to the show, starting with...
...the knife thrower! :o :o :o:
A bit of magic next:
Then more excitement with the high wire artists, peforming without a safety net:
Phew! that was exciting! Time to relax with the prancing horses:
and then the elephant as the grand finale:

Great photo's ! Thanks!

Aw, that's so cute, the little girl handing her doll out to the fireman first! :)
-
Thanks for posting!
Love the way you made the fire.
-
Thanks for the great pictures Gordon, it's always nice to see more views of the big displays
-
Thanks for uploading these photos, Gordon! I love the airport - very nice job on combining the 2001 version and the 2006 version.
-
Wow, great pictures! It is fun to see the various displays, as many of these themes are ones that I don't collect (yet ;)).
The circus bands really caught my eye! Those are fabulous and hard to find.
Thanks for posting the pictures!!

Thanks for the photos Gordon. It is nice to see the little details that were going on in the displays. I was so frazzled trying to get things sorted in time that I lost out on doing much of this with the pirates and the knights jousting. Hopefully this year will be better still.
