Title: Western sets back on add-ons
Post by: tahra on January 16, 2012, 08:45:55
Yesterday made my first order from playmobil iberia..

And noticed the western sets are back on the add ons.. Seems to support the idea of a comeback of the western theme... And seeing the confederates and union soldiers there.. wonder if there'll be more of those....

They've been available since way back in the mid 1990s here in the USA.

I'm with George on this. Also we need more privates than sergeants. No holsters either.

When the Western-theme is indeed coming back, I wonder what the Indians will think about US soldiers shooting arrows with their cannons...  ;D

I'm pretty sure they weren't all available on the iberia site... But now I'm confused.

I never got the 3 confederates add on because of the naked neck of two of them..

I'd hope they will put in specific indian tribes instead of generic indians. Like releasing an indian village with wooden huts instead of tipi's.

I don't think their indians are so much generic as having historical errors. Everything about them points to them being sioux, except that they throw in things like totem poles, which none of the plains indians used.  ::)

They've had some Apache types from time to time, but don't recall any Woodland ones.
