Just as other members on this forum I will show my purchases from time to time.
Today when I was shopping and walked into a toy-store I saw some PM I just had to have.
Wolfknights were 50% off! Never saw them for real, and their armor is just great. To bad I know must have the others too. ;D

The adventure truck had a 30% discount and I shall post a review later, besides I will take some pics of this truck in my safari diorama, where it belongs. ;)

And their wolfs with their red eyes. These knights get a special place in my collection! :)
-
Oh, nice find! I was looking for some, but don't need them now. They are pretty awesome!
I love these "latest purchase" threads. ;D It's fun to watch people's collections grow and celebrate their great finds with them. Isn't it great to show your buys with people who are excited for you, instead of asking why you spent so much money on toys? ;)

   It is! And that's why collecting playmo in combination with this forum is bad for my wallet.

Great purchases! Can't wait till my son is old enough to play with PM! :)

Congratulations on the new buys!!!

Wait 'till you get the one with the catapult and combine all the small coloured pieces for the boulders that it shouts ;D and the harness where you can tie up all the wolfs on it to drag  Wish I could get more of them in such a great discount!!!

Great purchases, conniefrere! I only have two of the wolf knights - they're great!
I love the adventure truck, too. :)

Going to look soon for the other three to complete the set.

Excellent acquisitions! :high5:

Shopping is dangerous. This time I saw some new sets, I only wanted the bowman but I brought along some friends for him.

Modern theme is not my kinda theme, and hunting does not particularly interest me, but when I see a dachshund I just wants....
Made some pictures unpacking so maybe I'll make a review. Strange thing happened unpacking and photographing the playmo. I suddenly realized I was unpacking toys, making photo's of that process, with in mind publishing that on a paymobil forum on the internet....it felt awkward because i found it normal, because it is for me since I joined to forum. 8} Well just wanted to share this and I'll keep taking photo's! :D
-
Great ones.. they'll eventually find they way into my GRABBY hands...

The archer is fantastic. Congrats on these buys.

In theory I only collect historical themes, Romans, Egypt, Viking and the new cavemen. (Sorry, no medieval knights for me, only the dragonland)
However, when I saw last year that this year some new underwater sets would be released it was definitely: I will have. This month the 4909 and the 4910 where released. Today they arrived by mail, check the picture!
I'm definitely in love with these two sets. I know the 4909 is the same as the 4473 - Research Submarine (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4473), but with another colortheme and the 4910 is comparable with 4479 - Deep Sea Diver (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4479) with an extra boat. Anyhow, I'm planning on making a review of these sets.
Furthermore, I was wondering how I could make a diorama with these underwater sets underwater! Problem is I don't have an underwatercamera and no swimming pool. I was thinking about an aquarium or something, anyone some other tips?

Nice haul there! ;)
-
Ah a new exploartion bus  I have not managed to get the first one... maybe this time...

At our first Kirkbean Exhibition my son made a small underwater diorama using an upturned table covered with clear plastic tablecloth material.
No water, but the plastic was to give the illusion of water. He then fastened fish etc from the top with invisible thread.

Since my little daughter was born 3 months ago, I was thinking of buying some princess stuff for her already. Ofcourse she has to wait for she can play with it, but her daddy might like it too, after all it is Playmobil. I bought a lot of princes stuff and I'm busy setting it up. Tomorrow the last things will arive, for example an extra floor for the castle, and then I will make some pictures with the complete theme set-up. By the way, I'm getting used to the pink colorscheme already. :)
I also bought some trees and wild animals for the story of Andar. Still working on a lot of pictures for this story...takes a lot of time.

I remember being at a huge toystore somewhere when I was about 12 years old.. it was amazing, they had multible huge lego displays that where perfect.
Including one featuring a then new underwater theme with divers, but also including boats with cranes, diving cages, etc.
It was pretty much under a square glass box, in the middle there where lots of rocks and all around where the divers, fish, underwater laboratory and such, and above those rocks they had a glass plate. Above the glass plate there where boats, and they even made something of a dock with diving equipment.
It's probably the most elaborate display I ever saw in a store, and they had several such displays. Sadly only of lego though, but I never saw anything like it before or after in any toy store.
Either way that glass plate seemed to work perfectly for it, it was light blue glass even. I'd bet that with glass and see through paper or plastic it could give an even greater result.
