There's two basic emoticons missing here:
One for ^^
and another for ¬¬
And another that is kind of important to: "facepalm". It's so great to have it! :yup:
I love playmofriends emoticons, by the way. Specially the thematic ones (medieval, Romans, cowboy, &c.).
And the holliday ones (Christmas, Saint Patricks (was awesome) ...).
And the playmofaces, those are really wonderful!
I mean, I'm very happy with the forum. But these three I think that would add quality to our emotions in our conversations.
 :thanks:

not a bad idea, though i don't think additional emoticons are essential ;) (the ¬¬ might be ocassionally useful)
i particularly like this one:  :o
his eyes are hillarious!!!

We already have a facepalm one!

now Gustavo will have to use it ;D

I think we're fine with the emoticons we have. Half of the smilies on PlaymoFriends I don't even use. I only use smilies when I want to convey a certain mood or to emphasize something.

			-
Yeah, if anything we probably have more than we really need, though I wouldn't change it.  Obviously they don't cover every imaginable smiley need, but it's easy enough to find one on a smiley site. I do that a lot!

My favourite one got removed :(
Damo :)
Sorry, which one?

			-
				yeah which one, Damo?
and what's a good site to get extra smileys? every time that i try to get into one i get a lot of 'shoot the ipad' or 'you're our 1000th visitor' and all that virus crap ???
i used not to use many smileys but depending on my mood and posting consistency they get very addictive!

				My favorites are these two:

http://smileys.on-my-web.com/
I think Sylvia showed us both of these.

My favourite one got removed :(
Which one??
I sometimes put one or two in hidden mode when adding seasonal ones to the reply form page so it doesn't get overloaded. I may have forgotten to restore it.

True, there's that one. But no, I don't have to use it, because I meant one like this: (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/album/albums/userpics/10422/thumb_icon_facepalm.gif) It isn't so importante as ^^ and ¬¬ though. These ones I really miss :-\

			-
So what do ^^ and ¬¬ mean?  ???

			-
same question here,,, I have no idea what that is. and if Im supposed to see a smiley I don't... ??? ??? ???

			-
Yeah, I'm not sure what those two mean, either. ???

			-
^^ are two closed smiling eyes, something like this but without the tear: (http://mazeguy.net/happy/tearsofjoy.gif)
the ¬¬ are two eyes showing subtle anger, offense, indifference or boredom, similar to this smiley: (http://mazeguy.net/expressive/bored.gif) (the eyes should be looking to the right though)

			-

Yeah, I'm not sure what those two mean, either. ???
At first I thought they were expressions with eyes, but I think they might represent upward and downward pointers.
Combining a headslap smiley with an upward pointer is a way to mock the person who has posted above you... not that I would ever do that, of course. 0) ;)

"Surely you've never been to Singapore!" ¬¬
(Nor watched animé ...)

Come on! Luis explained them very well! ... I'll attach some images :sherlock:
Okay: one image is enough, brings both ¬¬ (first line, third column) and ^^ (third line, third column).

Come on! Luis explained them very well! ...
thanks Gustavo, I felt totally ignored here...(http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Unhappy/cursing-002.gif) (now I need the ¬¬ smiley lol)

Yes, I saw Luis's explanation and figured it was probably correct! You just never confirmed that was what you meant.  :)9

Right ... I guess not everyone knows [or has to know] Geekish, huh? (I'd use ¬¬ know ... I tried to use the roll eyes [ ::) ], but it won't aply, because it's smiling. Only if it had a mouth like the "hmm" [ :hmm: ]. I guess the ¬¬ is something like a "humpf", or "pfff". And the "hmm" won't aply either, because it's too interested in the subject, which wouldn't be the case here ...)
Anyway, I'm in a forum, it's called Omega Geek (it's in Portuguese). There's the ¬¬ smiley there. Also, probably, in any manga/anime forums you'll find them. Possibly it's not Playmofriends-like, because it isn't a geeky/jinxy forum ... It's all right ... I won't have :blackhair: in a geek-people forum, it makes sense I don't have ¬¬ or ^^ here ... I guess it's beginning to make sense, or I'm beginning to understand why there aren't these emoticons here, and it feels like okay, in a way. (It'd be like me wishing the geek forum moderators to insert :blackhair: or :brownhair: , which wouldn't be very proper in their forum ...) .. ::) Generally it makes sense that smilies have to be smiling (or at least funny like "hmm") in Pf: it reflects the klicky "forever-smile" :P
Interesting :sherlock: ... (Or "element'ry" :P )

			-
(As I read my own post above, I'd read ¬¬ as "pfff" and ^^ as "yippie!" ...) ;D

			-
				So, @bonnie & @Sylvia (and @ everyone else who don't/didn't understand ¬¬ and ^^), you are not geeky-jinxy people.
And @Luis, congratz mate ^^ : You are a geek! \o/ (Like me! :cham: :apple:  :indian: <:> :shhhh: )

@Sylvia: Feel free to close this topic, Sylvia. And you don't have to concern about new emoticons.
I'll continue my wanderings on the matter here: http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=10208.0 , which is PFZ ;D
 :thanks:

				(found it ...) (http://www.mazeguy.net/silly/shiftyeyes.gif)

Ah, okay. To me, that smiley doesn't exactly look like subtle anger; more like suspicion, mostly because of the moving eyes.

right - his eyes shouldn't really be moving...
