Not that many would care but there is a new company importing Playmobil to Argentina from Malta. :cracker: :cracker: :cracker: :cracker: :cracker: :cracker:
There are dozens and dozens of new sets that never have been sold here. The best and newest are the top agent theme and some pirate stuff... I think they are usa exclusives... weird. 8}
Anyway... Im considering selling one kidney :lol: :lol:. The prices are unbelievably expensive... for example: the top agent boat/ship is 200 dollars! 8} 8} 8} 8}
Specials are 10 dollars like always and the duo pack blisters are 20 dollars... just so you know.
Best thing is that in one of the shops there was a kind of big cartboard castle which columns were full of sets :love: :love: :love: and in the middle a diorama of the dragon knight theme. It is amazing to be able to see all this here!
A pity prices are so high though.

Congratulations and condolences (on the loss of your arm and leg :P). I'd love to see pics of that castle thingy, that's so exciting!!!! I wonder what the going rate for a kidney is in the black market. :lol: THose prices are just dreadful.

i would love to see that cardboard castle set up.
the prices are a joke. german dhl package ( 120cm x 90cm / 10kg ) is 59,-€ to argentina. maybe you should find some more collectors from argentina and ship the sets yourself. just tell me if you need help.

Yeah I've talked about it with a couple of collectors but we haven't come to an arragement. Calculating taxes would be a night mare! 8}
But I think I'll do it sooner or later with a help of some german friend. :)

whahaha... selling a kidney... very funny. If you want small boxes or blisters, I can buy them for you, remove the cardbox and sent them in a tiny package, just in the poly- bag. That won't work for the big ones but let me know if you are interested. On playmobil.nl you can see what is available in holland right now.
of topic: The Johnny Rook (remember?) is a kind of snake eagle, a caracara (caracar in spanish?), very smart and brutal. There was once a documentary on NGC or Discovery that was called 'Flying Devils, about the Johnny Rooks on the Falkland island (whethever they are Britsh or Argentin). Impressive creature!

Are you converting from Argentine Pesos to US Dollars? If so then yes that's very high.
If not then 1 USD is equal to a little over 4 Pesos, so you would divide the Peso price by 4 to compare with a US price.

One special is 49 pesos wich is, I must say, more than 11 dollars. when I said 10 I was rounding it down. 8}

I often wondered if the south American auction sellers were scalping as much but with the prices you give they are, but only a little. I have always wanted to get some of the western sets and the fishing boat but the prices are always really high.
Is everything this high or just playmobil?

always is :( our import products are so very expensive because of taxation... I suppose its te same with all your products.
