I am looking into a clicky intervention for him.  It is almost as bad as being addicted to Playmobil!
. . . now I am now so tempted to buy the school and jail.  This is a slippery slope.
Joe

Heh well just some chairs and other clickies with problems might be enough. And a psychiatrist clicky to help them all.  ;)

Sorry to dig up an old topic, but I just recently started checking the Playmofriends forums after a long hiatus.

I'm interested in getting this set.  Since it's built using steck, does anyone know if it would be possible to buy 2 and set them up as a 2 story building?  It looks like it was possible with some of these older western sets:  http://www.svencentral.com/playmobil/box/images-leaflet/79-3531-street.jpg

That pic is NOT assembly/steck - it's the ancient western building system...

Since I don't have the new saloons on hand, I don't know if you can just make a two story building with just the two sets..

perhaps you will need some 3-way connectors like the green one in sheriff's house frontal wall

YES it is.

She was referring to the picture linked in starhorse's post. Those buildings are the western system, not steck.

They may be Western, but's still the Steck connection system.

Last I checked, those old western buildings are NOT steck. They're a system of their own. The one reviewed in this thread is steck.

True, the first ones are not.

This was about the Steck ones ( like the saloon and if they can stack ).

There is still a subtle difference about these Western ones, though that differs them from castle pieces.  Some Western pieces have a slot at the bottom to fit in a groove.

So you would have to have a base piece put on top to make the second floor or modify it somehow.

Starhorse, here is a picture of one that uses both:

Go to Tricornjock's (www.tricornjock.com) website and search for "Sweetwater".  It's a custom Western display that has multi-level Western buildings using these Steck ones.
