3660 Merchant's Wagon
« on: September 01, 2011, 18:59:36 »
After seeing the talk about the 3660 in the PCC area, I realised I have this wagon.

It's not in white, nor is it in perfect mint condition (it came in a lot of olde stuff I got on ebay the other year) but it is the same model - so I think I should try to make my own merchant's wagon train.

Mine won't have the exact same figures, but I have extras and I can come up with something I hope is acceptable.  I see I need to change the front wheels.

Does anyone know how the wash basin is being held on to the wagon?

And what is that thing that is being coloured in the image?  Looks like a giant frying pan ...

What is the large chest in the back of the wagon?

This will be a great project to see! :wow:
I hope they re-release these sets... But maybe colored. :)
It would be perfect for a knight's train as well. :D
Steck is BACK! <:>

I think it is the normal wagon but white, right? or is it a different mold?

this one is the same mold as the white wagon... you will note a major difference from this wagon and the modern wagon... there is an additional clip spot just behind the first "tent clip" from the front... that is also how the wash basin is attached
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.

Baron Marshall is right, the wash basin and the frying pan (yes it is a frying pan, but not a giant) are attached on the extra clips, which the latest mould, available through DS, does not have...

The trunks at the back are two regular old type trunks. The were reissued with the previous pirate sets.

Okay!  So you just clip the handle on to there.
