Perhaps a silly question - but I am going to ask it nonetheless:

is there a figure with a white coat and silver legs (in other words: the same as this Crusaders' legs, but the gold replaced by silver ones) ?

The split-skirts don't separate from the legs in these figures, do they? Without damage, that is?

No, it's a two-colour moulding, and once moulded they're one piece, mcuh like the boots or shoes on other klickies. Then the bit of the red cross is printed afterwards.
My Crusader arrived Yesterday.

I like the new style helmet and the print on the flag and figure and the shield is a nice piece too.

However I don't like the red gloves and the shoulder puffs, in my opinion they don't look right on the figure at all. leave them off as spare parts and then the figure fits in nicely with the rest of the knights. I also find the gold legs an odd choice, the 2 previous crusaders are nice pleasing to the eye figures with a simple colour scheme this one is a bit of a mess I have seen better customs than this original figure.

I've switched the shoulder puffs to the Pierrot who stands on my desk at work, and they look rather good on him. I agree they didn't get all the details right this time, but I''m still glad to have the Third Crusade(r).

As far as I can see it's molded like that - so I don't think they are seperable  :'(

I like the new-ness of the helmet, but I'm still surprised by Playmobil's lack of a really good-looking great helm.

The great helm is probably the most widely-represented helmet we see in the movies and pictures of the early crusading period, but Playmobil's versions continue to be strange-ish, whereas other creations like the pig-face helmet, the barbute, and the various sallet styles look good-ish.

Well, OK, if this picture I find on Wikipedia is representational, the special's great helm isn't so bad afterall.

Did darklord paint the gold or the red ? I  like the all silver Crusader better.
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Worse, Rasputin.

He took feet with silver legs and dremmeled the trousers away.
Then he took the original pair of legs and dremmeled the feet away and then glued them together!

Wonderfull result - but a awefull lot of work!!!

Plus you lose a pair of legs along the way...

Wonderful result, but what a shame Playmo couldn't get it right themselves.

'd love to know why they chose gold legs.
