Yes George, the last few years have been fantastic for us animal lovers, starting with the safari theme. WHen I first saw early pics of the safari theme on playmodb, before I even knew about PF, I was beside myself! I think Chris thought I'd lost my mind, I was going so crazy over it!

Yep, lots of new animals the last few years. Here's a chart showing how many different animals have been released each year. The 2011 total may actually be a little more than that, the chart is a few months old.

That's a fantastic graph! 2005 was a big year  :D

According to the chinese 2005 was the year of the rooster... perhaps one with many playmo animals can make a playmo chinese calendar one day  ;)

I could, Giorginetto,
if they make a dragon (2012 is the year of the water dragon) but then, this is a mystical creature...no PM zoo will allow :P
...and making a long dragon dance then would be too easy too...oh ya, we'll need firecrackers from a new Chinese PM theme ;)

I just found that Playmobil has been posting little puzzle-piece like sections of a new series on their Facebook page! I think this is the best advertising ploy they've ever used...

Looks like part of an exploding valcano, or some kind of flying rock.

Part of a house, could be the hotel ...

And a background valcano. It might also be for the hotel, if it's in a tropical location.

I agree, but it's a little frustrating that this could all be something we've already seen, or something groundbreakingly new :D. Now that I think about it, this is a Japenense theme. The flying rock, the volcano and the red tiled roof all point to it  :crossed:...
