I really like this reviews, I say this every time, but it's true! I always see details of klickies I usually didn't want to buy that eventually could be of use, so thanks for sharing!

Great review Tahra, thanks! A few details I hadn't noticed before. Love that tan torso too, wow.

Always happy to read your reviews of the figures, Tahra! So many detail - thanks!

Those rubber bands got me angry too. What a waste, and so unnecessary.
I like those legs with ballerina shoes from the Ninja too, they look really great.
It's amazing what you did with the wrestler, what an original merman! Wonderfully done, genius!

Yeah.. BESIDES all the small bags. Gah. :(

I will tell my sister  ;D - using the mask for a merman was her idea - I only remembered the matching speedo mertail...

wonderful looking series, rubberbands are odd. They were annoying enough on the wings, I hope this is a fad that is short lived. Are they trying to make it harder to feel the contents?

Great conversion of the bat/vampire woman, much better.

I suppose you want the blue eyes of the nutcracker. You could always mask them and rub everything else off then use a beard to cover the lack of mouth. I think a better hair to use would be a white ponytail one then the chinstrap can be worn properly.
The green lady looks like she has handcuffs on, that belt print looks chain-like and those leaf cuffs finish the illusion.
The print and colour of the white knight's helmet makes it look like a Rebel flight helmet from Star Wars. I want the arms and legs of that figure though.
I really don't like the legs of the cyborg. In part because there are too many pegleg pirates, but also because a pegleg is just stupid for a cyborg, I'd expect a more robot looking leg and the old fashioned boot looks out of place too. I think the new arm looks great but would be better in a grey colour. As it stands the cyborg looks like a GI Joe figure from the 90s and that is not a good thing.
The gangster looks great, it would be better if it had round framed glasses or none at all and the mustache should be thinner and not droop but otherwise works well. The flapper can be given the tray to make a cigarette girl at some club.

They've used a mold originally for a gladiator which needs armour on the weapon holding side of the chest (shield protects the other side) for the archer which is why he's left handed.

Thanks for the review, this is one of the best series by the look of it...and yeah, that brown weskit looks awesome, would look great with those flowy white arms.

Where do the (new) shoes for the cavewoman come from? Also how did you replace them without damaging the figure?

The only thing that I can think of is that someone has a rubberband factory, and knows SOMEONE at geobra.

Great conversion of the bat/vampire woman, much better.

Thank you :)   Still have no idea what's THAT supposed to be  ???

I suppose you want the blue eyes of the nutcracker. You could always mask them and rub everything else off then use a beard to cover the lack of mouth. I think a better hair to use would be a white ponytail one then the chinstrap can be worn properly.

The problem is the mustache - I would hate to clean it too, and it's so "high" and pointy that it shows under the beard... and I think it is unnatural that the klicky has no mouth  :-[ (yes, they did that, the lazybones  >:( )

You are of course right about the hair. It's like someone decides things without ever trying them on? Or is it relevant for the character? (meaningless to me)

The green lady looks like she has handcuffs on, that belt print looks chain-like and those leaf cuffs finish the illusion.

Darn, I'll never look at her the same!  :P

The print and colour of the white knight's helmet makes it look like a Rebel flight helmet from Star Wars. I want the arms and legs of that figure though.

I had never thought of that regarding the helmet...  Oh, WAIT.. I AM NOT FALLING DOWN THAT HOLE. I want TWO - WIP - (ok, maybe 3 or 4) people characters from SW (and R2).. and I would love the clones, but can't figure it out.  NO. MORE.

Love the arms too   The legs.. meh. I mean, great color, but I dislike the mold.

Again, you're right. And it's kinda odd for someone else - the pegleg with those colors...

The weapon arm doesn't really work well... imo. The cannon arm is perfect. This... meh.

The gangster looks great, it would be better if it had round framed glasses or none at all and the mustache should be thinner and not droop but otherwise works well. The flapper can be given the tray to make a cigarette girl at some club.

No gangsters here... and her.. have no idea... Maybe a masquerade?

They've used a mold originally for a gladiator which needs armour on the weapon holding side of the chest (shield protects the other side) for the archer which is why he's left handed.

I know the chestpiece is from a gladiator, I just have no idea why he has it.. My question of being lefthanded is the bracer... supposed to be worn on the arm that holds the bow (according to Age Of Empires, so that the feathers of the arrow speeding by don't open the poor guy's wrist)..

My only serious olympic sports watching is football.

Thanks for the review, this is one of the best series by the look of it...and yeah, that brown weskit looks awesome, would look great with those flowy white arms.

Thank you :)

You mean the torso of the "naval guard"?  Don't know for who yet but it IS beautiful, and that is a serious possibility :)

Where do the (new) shoes for the cavewoman come from? Also how did you replace them without damaging the figure?

Uhm.. they're normal caveman boots.. I think? Unless you mean that color?  (at least this one: link from playmodb (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-9212))

I think I DIDN'T remove the feet this time, since I used a skirt with those legs, instead of the one she brought...

I cut the tab in the skirt when I need to remove the feet, most of the time (posted about it, and the cutter  on my neverending PROCESS)

I agree the pegleg is weird, but I really like the clear torso on the cyborg.

Maybe you should rename your The Process thread to The Never Ending Process, it sounds nice and seems true to reality too! :D

Sports archers have a chest guard too which is on the same side as the bow is held. Why they have it I don't know. I've done a little archery in the past and never had a problem with anything hitting my chest but females might want one, though males wear them too so I guess they serve a purpose. The print on that piece is meant to represent a strong mesh fabric. At least they used straight arms so you can change it to a right handed archer, just ignore the chest guard being for a lefty.
I guess it doesn't fit a female klicky so does that mean they wont produce a female version or maybe they'll do one with a printed guard instead.

;D Yes, weskit is a slang form of waistcoat which is what the brown torso is. Weskits could be sleeveless which is how we know them or long sleeved. The long sleeved ones could be worn as a light jacket.

To strengthen/span the muscles in the left chest-side/armpit area, so that the archer can hold his bow even more steady? Just a guess though.

Pretty close, the bayonet is supposed to be on the right side, not underneath, but having it at the end is the main thing. Makes me happy!

I like the naval soldier guy but I am going to take away his musket and have him be a Founding Father or something like that. His torso paint is indeed fantastic.  :inlove:

From what I undertood from that discussion, like this or to the side, yes, and I think it looks better like this  :-[

The torso is too pretty to be hidden under a jacket, imo..

Saved this for the evening: this excellent review is a wonderful read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Many thanks, Tahra!

I have nothing to add except that I agree that the Roman lady and the soldier are the highlights of each series, on my book closely followed by the bee lady and the sailor. I has been a most rewarding release, and I'm still hunting!

Just one question, please: what happens to those that are not "kept"?

Thanks again and best wishes

Either parts or mount 3...  Still didn't figure out the brown naval guard torso... or the head from the cyborg...

Don't be fooled, there is no mount 3, it's a large child with an even larger rock. :o

About the "chest guard":

Quote
(...) Top of the line guard to help keep the bowstring from hitting loose clothing and tender parts of an archers anatomy. (...)

From here (random google search): link at Andover Archery Center (scroll down, last product) (http://andoverarchery.com/Products/armguardsandfingerguards.htm)

So, worn on the bow side too...

(still wanna know what you meant though, Klickteryx  :P  )

It just seems ominous that all these unwanted klickies get sent to "mound 3" never to be heard of again. I envisage a room with a big kid with an evil smile sitting in the middle of the floor with a large rock surrounded by broken plastic.

Great and thorough review, as always, tahra! :)

The merman looks great. And I really like the sorceress; that's so much better than whatever that figure was supposed to be!

Haha, I know I've said this before, but it's too bad that you don't use all those Fi?ures skeletons and heads! I can appreciate that you want the finished figures to be made with the normal heads so that they seem more permanent, but the Fi?ures ones are great for quickly changing custom figures. I'm always running low on them!

And we have NO IDEA either what that weirdo is supposed to be - there's always a couple, right?  :-\

It is not a matter of "seem more permanent" - they ARE permanent. When they are clicked, there are no plans to pop them again. So, no point.  Unless I foresee ... issues (like the Galactica ones)...

I use the figure heads+frames for drafts. Never lack frames, but I wish we had ALL existing heads as figure heads... it's just not the same, using a different one, imo..

I always plan for that too, but then I'll see a great new part that might be better, and I have to try it!

Much better - and in this case, I will even tolerate THAT hair!

You think whoever did the figure didn't try the hat?!
