Real ones, you mean? :hmm:

Don't get me wrong; I do believe in Nessie! I just don't think any real undisputed evidence has been presented yet. I know they'll find her one day, though!

I don't think the "real" Nessie is "real"  but it is supposed to look like a plesiosaurus.

That's a good point to keep in mind ;)

Which reminds me, there's no playmobil plesiosaurus in the dinosaurs collection :P

I am on the fence,
though I am threatening to fall into the realm of believing.
(For Bigfoot/Yeti, and Nessi or other lake monsters.)

There have been a number of photographs,
but they could be explained by several other things.
There are videos too, but the same problem.
The thing is there are so many!
No definitive proof, but when so many people have seen it...?

The same for Yeti or Bigfoots (bigfeet? ;)),
did you know there are over 2,000 different casts of Yeti tracks. :o
And if you go to Nepal and around the Everest region,
the people there think of the Yeti as a real animal.
There is no doubt in their mind it actually exists.

Then of course there is that 2 entirely different cultures have seen these beasts,
and have legends of them dating back for a long time...
(before the modern world, so they never would have interacted.)

There are sightings all over the world of similar creatures that we call myths,
but I find it hard to dismiss these as just myths because: "We haven't found them yet."

Until the early 1900s, gorillas were believed to be just a myth or legend. Scientists couldn't find proof they existed.

Nah! Nessie, bigfoot & chupacabras are modern chimaera, cyclops & gorgons ... ::)

Except unlike those, at least the Yeti is much more realistic.
It has many of the same qualities of a gorilla,
and we know that a couple thousand years ago there were giant gorilla like creatures in the reigon.
It is therefore not unlikely that there could be decedents living in the mountains of Nepal,
which is a very wild and uncharted area.
Besides, the ancient Greeks did not have cast footprints,
and teams of modern scientists backing the theory that a Yeti could exist.
