Neuss which was besieged by Charles the Bold (without success) is actually my hometown and so here a few "sets" inspired by the period. Using only original parts they only give a feeling of those days and no accurate heraldry. Of course most of the figures would work for Wars of the Roses as well.

Great knights..
And.. really?! A strawberry hat :o :o Amazing the parts you manage to use!
-
Very impressive work. :thanks:
-
Excellent - Playmobil, take note and follow!
-
Wonderful use of parts, so colourful! This is what knights should look like.
Particularly like the one on the right.

What helmet are you using for the one on the right in the image below?

Really lovely, & very colorful like medieval knights were. Great job.
-
@Klickteryx: the helmet comes from one of the Super4-figures.
-
Some really nice ones. I too have been a bit busy with the 15th century. :)

A battle scene with a bunch of these guys would be out of this world! :prays: :confetti: :knight: :knight: :knight:

So.. colorful... and it works!
That one in the middle in the last pic is particularly amazing!
-
I really love the color and pattern combinations on the drummers! Wonderful stuff!
-
The drummers are my favourites too! 8-)
-
Yes, the drummers are superb, and, too, the trumpeters are very good.
I can imagine them all marching through the city streets with flag bearers alongside twirling and hurling their flags into the air.
-
Fantastic colours. Geobra and Hollywood could both learn from this thread.

Hi,
Fantastic Figures !

Great, great work! well done
-
These are all great! :)
@Klickteryx: the helmet comes from one of the Super4-figures.
That helm looks fantastic. I've tried it on some customs too, but I wish that it were included in some other sets.
-
These customised figures are just wonderful and happy in a colour scheme which reminds me very much of the early Playmobil catalogues. Such a brilliant work which immediately brings a smile on our face

Works of a Playmobil genious !! I am in awe, sir

Especially the one from the red clown torso, the one on the left, with the blue stripes in the legs... Awesome.

Using princess Leonora's hair as a hood in ma-2019c was an utterly brilliant idea!

You make wonderful use of the shoulder thingies....
-
The last one, with the "shoulder thingies", is indeed wonderful. I shall copy your design straight away, but provide him with firmer footwear than these (admittedly gorgeous) courtly shoes.
Thanks for the never-ending stream of inspiration.

Love that second pic

Wow, so original! Agree with everyone that the second man with the puffy sleeve/shoulder is great, but also very much like the first man wearing something like a cardigan.
